I could absolutely see Lisa saying she had enough of the ups and downs and of Rick causing her pain - great dialogue in those scenes! Loved the story - thanks

I love this fanfic Robotech is actually my dad's, my brother's, and mine favorite anime. I was actually happy that Rick ended up with Lisa instead of Minmay or Minmei (It was shown in the anime that their was two ways to spell her name)

I like this it sounds like something that they would do in the anime. (I am not sure if you knew this was an anime)

This looks interesting. It is well written.

I know this was likely written a long time ago...but I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. This was my first ever reading of a fan fiction story. I thought that you captured the character's personalities really REALLY well! It was very immersive. If I can give any minor criticism...the only time that I was reminded that this wasn't a canon story was when the characters referred to other characters using nick names that I dont' remember them using in the series. (ricky, mimi, darling, etc).

Have you written more? I'd love to read more like this.

I greatly enjoyed 'the battle of love'. Even though it was an AU story, I appreciated the fact that Roy Fokker wasn't dead as well as the rest of the SDF-1 crew, for it gave a new perspective on , and how many times did I get the feeling of punching Rick Hunter for being such a jerk, lol.

The Robotech: Macross Saga was a terrific anime, and an adult-oriented at that. And what can I say, I just so much loved the Rick-Lisa romance and was so glad to see that the finally got together in the end, albeit sad to see the rest of the SDF-1crew die.
