I have been revisiting my favorite fandom lately. I will have to give thanks to the pandemic. A month ago I caught covid-19, so it gave me time to really get in deep into some classic fanfics, well when I wasn't having bad symptoms that is. I got to relive the fun of reading these stories, and I forgotten how enjoyable this story was. I'm not going to lie I hope for a new chapter in the maybe future. But if not I understand life moves on and we go in different directions the older we get. but I wanted to let you both know that I still enjoy this story all these years later.

OMG, I hope this story isn't abandoned. I want more VxM please. Love this story. Sure Knives is fine but Vash... Just a soft spot for VxM

Hrm, I liked the writing, and I love me some VxM, but just couldn't get into the whole Vash and Knives switching personalities, and dark Vash for that matter. Great writing though.

This is the first time that I read about how exactly Meryl and Milly met and how they got their super risky jobs. And I really liked it! Meryl sounded like she was jealous of the popularity of Milly with boys. That was funny. Milly sure is aware of her abilities and short comings: not many people could call themselves dumb and mean it.

I was impressed by the Bernardelli back story. Simply perfect and believable.

Also... Will Meryl really be able to stick to her no boyfriend rule? We'll see. *grins*

This is very mysterious! Vash used his powers and I wonder if it was his brother who helped me or not. I have a suspicion that it was not! This is so exciting! Having Vash react differently to circumstances without his memory.

And your description is increadible. The last sentence made a good visual impact. I am officially addicted now. :)

Wow that was a great start. If it is really going to picture a darker version of Vash, then I will trade the original for this. Sorry Vash.

Oh my goodness it's been a while! Wow... I can't think of the right way to say how amazing this one was! This chapter... Wow! When are ya'll going to up-date?

Oh my gosh, finally! I've been waiting for this to happen ever since I started reading this story! Now I'm just waiting to see how everything is gonna turn out, lol.

Will Meryl get with Vash, or will she be unable to see past his past - or her own stubbornness (though she seems to have finally realized that she likes bad boys *especially THIS bad boy*, lol)? OR, in a different turn of events, will she find Knives and end up with him, no matter what Vash tries to do or how she feels about him? OR, in a completely different turn of events, will she end up with both of them, since she seems to have a certain mystifying effect on both Plant men? Lol, now that would be interesting.

And Milly, at last! She's found her two men again! They are all so cutely devoted to each other, haha. It makes me smile every time I read it. I wouldn't be surprised at any pairing you gave to Milly. I love both just the same in this story :)

In any case, please update soon! I can't wait to read what happens next, I'm dying here! Lol. At first I wasn't sure how I was gonna like a Dark!Vash story with a Good!Knives, but it's actually really amazing so far. I love it. In the beginning I was slightly confused but I understood everything the more I read.

btw, I'm curious. I'm kinda liking the new look for Vash, but I do have a soft spot for his golden blonde hair and aqua eyes... _ So my question is this: Are y'all gonna keep him looking this way, with the silvery-white hair and red eyes, or are y'all gonna change him back? I'm excited to find out!

I'm surprised that you've had this story going for so many years! I know you mentioned something last chapter about how it's gonna be winding up soon, but do you have an guesstimate on how many more chapters y'all are gonna do, or is that something I'm just gonna have to keep waiting and reading to find out? lol, I don't mind, I love this story and don't want it to end just yet _

Alright, a new chapter. Vash is such a tool, so if he is waiting for Meryl to admit she has feelings for him; he'll be waiting for forever and a day. Meryl is to proud to be so easily seduced and overcome. I really liked this chapter by the way, especially with all the hot Vash and Meryl action.

This is a really interesting beginning! The descriptions and mystery - and the promise of dark!Vash, of course - really drew me in. Great job, and I'm only at the prologue~

Hello! I just read through all of the chapters of your fanfiction, and I really love it. I’m impressed with your characterization, your control of tone and plot, and the overall writing! I also really love how you include minor characters, and even flesh them out. It really enriches the story. I really hope you continue, though I see you haven’t updated in a long time… I would really like to see where this is going, and what happened in the past that changed Vash and Knives so drastically. And I want to see Knives and Wolfwood again. I miss them (and Milly does too…).

This has been such an interesting read, so thank for you sharing it with us! I really hope you continue. : )

I just recently started to dig through all of my favourites lists on various fanfic websites again - which led to me spending past day and a half re-reading this fantastic story. Man, I still remember the days when when I first stumbled upon this story (it was on the 10th chapter I think?) and being amazed at the depth and adventure you guys infused it all with.

Now that I've finally read the whole thing back-to-back and all in one go, I just appreciate that all the more. Characterization is awesome, and the romantic development is lovely. (It's reasonable! Now that I'm past my ragin' hormone of my youth, I realize how redundant all of those fast-paced romances are - the pacing you guys have for the romances in here are perfect.) Also, bonus props for finally having a goodly amount of Vash/Meryl time!

But significantly less props for the tantalizing ship tease cliffhanger this chapter offers. Well, double-cliffhanger, with the whole mystery of that voice in Vash's head. (My personal theory is that it's canon Vash plying the whup-ass on Dark Vash so that he stops denying his guilt over July. :D Then I hope that leads to some sexytimes between him and Meryl, because dangit, I've been waiting for some V/M sexytimes in this fic for what...half a decade now? :P)

As always, enormous, enormous kudos for soldiering on with this fic. It's an unfortunate fact of life that the Trigun fandom is pretty much a tumbleweed now compared to the rollicking Deep Space Future Planet [of Gun Action] it used to be. Yet, you guys keep pumping out the goods, and just as insanely good as its ever been. :) I hope you two stick to this long enough for us readers to see to its end!
