Reviews for Seven Deaths |

![]() ![]() ![]() This story is too amazing for words. It really is. the title made me think the members of the crew were going to die one by one and I almost didn't read this, but I'm really glad I did. Thanks for this incredible piece of writing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() WOW, I was so impressed with this story. I know it's really old and yah, but I could love it to death. It was soo addicting and intriguing. It looked like you put so much hard work into every single detail, parts of it even made me want to cry. Well great great job, I'm going to go read it again :). -SKZS |
![]() ![]() ![]() wow only one word can describe this Wow i am in complete shock and i LOVE it! omg that was an amazing story, i Loved it! The characters were perfectly protrayed and the plot moved so smothly i was in Awe! I am So in love with this ... FAVS! |
![]() ![]() ![]() You know I'm actually a big fan of Zoro/Sanji and for some reason I just kept hoping there'd be a seen but the whole companionship throughout the story just was enough. I loved how real it seemed, the development of their relationship, if you can call it that. And I loved this part: "Because," and Zoro recognized his tone then. "If it had been real," Sanji said quietly, "if they really all were gone...how could I betray the only nakama I had left?" I loved how this fic just centered around Sanji and Zoro. And how each death was just insane! It was only for three days, but it seemed so much longer. It was just amazing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is most definitely the best One Piece story I've ever had the pleasure to read. I really like your Sanji. Most people get Zoro right but tend to reduce the cook to some helpless sap who needs the swordsman to save him as if he were some damsel in distress. You didn't which is why I truly enjoyed this fic. Great job! *applauds* |
![]() ![]() ![]() I actually read this fic a logn time ago and saved it to my favorites, but I felt now that I should give a more formal bene. Kudos to you for writing the two of them so well and very in character. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "...We're not worthy, we're not worthy!" WOW! What an amazing story! LOVED IT! Well crafted and well told! Thank you! |
![]() ![]() I could not walk away. I am starving now, but I could not bring myself to walk away, even to make toast or something. I think it's important that you know that. :) It's rare to find genfic so compelling, and you did a really, really wonderful job. Beautifully in-character. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Damn this is one good fic! All the Sanji angst is like chocolate to me! I was missing the Straw Hat Pirate(s) appearance first few chapters but gotta admit the Swordmaster and Cook bonding was sweet. Wacko island that is. And the whole seven death things... Eek. Scary-lah. I just have to squeal over how cool mad Luffy is. What can i saw.. I just can't help loving the powerful ones. *cough* I'm a slasher fan myself but even more precious are the darn ol good heart to heart male bonding type ficcies. Cuz there is absolutely nothing better then brotherly love I reckon. Wonderful concept, fantastic fic! Hope you write more angsty torturous stuff soon. Oh and a dash of more scary luffy would be great! |
![]() ![]() Absolutely INCREDIBLE. I stayed up reading this until four am, it's just... AMAZING. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hello X-parrot! I loved your fic! _ It is the forst one none yaoi that I read that I really like! wel... with this pairing at least... You used an subject that shows us that Sanji is really Zoro Nakama, and that they have a strong bond, stronger than love sometimes! I would like to thank you for the history and ask you to e-mail me! I have a... proposition to make kay? Thank you! Ps: I am Brazilian! _" Sorry if i said something wrong in english... thanks again! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hello almighty awesome one. -bows- I'm not worthy! Make me your disciple, oh master X-Parrot-sama! I will peel your grapes! Maybe not but...I'll peel your imaginary grapes! And then eat them...but that's not the point. Anyways, I love you. Bye. XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was just awesome. You're an amazing writer o Love the Sanji-Zoro-friendshipness! Write some more OP fanfics ok? |
![]() ![]() ![]() uwa! i tried to read this 14-chapter story of yours in one sitting just now, ...thank goodness i'm done..., and i must say... the fic is great! i love angst (more like bishounen toture), and couple it with the super gorgeous Sanji, it made my day! ...and it's okay that it's non-yaoi, it's better that way |
![]() ![]() ![]() I, uh..._damn_, but that was good. My lit-geek pride demands I write you a long and insightful review, but I don't think that's gonna happen. Long, maybe, but I can't guarantee coherency or insight or anything tricky like that. The setup was original and interesting, well carried-off and completely plausible. From the beginning, and how Sanji got himself into the mess in the first place, to their reactions to the various "deaths" and how each of them copes, to the end and how that was handled. Also, the ICness. Makes me so very, very happy. Spazzy-happy, which is a little embarrassing, but I'll live. Seriously, I love these characters, I love how they're portrayed in canon, and I love how you've kept them who they are, in spite of putting them through an unholy mess of god(dess)-like proportions. Zoro was, for lack of any more coherent adjectives, very Zoro-y. Zoro-iffic, even. The sword-practice, the snark, the underlying concern and rising helplessness...ah, yes, this is why I still read fic, I remember now. I liked how you kept the trials very much Sanji's realm, right up until the last few, but Zoro was still there to deal with the aftermath. And Sanji - so much love. How you brought the eighty-five days thing to bear on the present situation, how you kept Zeff and the Baratie in mind, perfect. Also, the way he got into this mess in the first place, with the priestess, so very IC of him (as was how Zoro automatically assumed the worst). The newbie to the fandom would like to thank you for renewing her faith in humanity. She will now proceed to rec this out like nobody's business and/or skip class and reread it. |
