Reviews for Confessions of the Master
Ranja86 chapter 4 . 12/26/2009
This is getting more intresting :3 It's amazing how you make up the case. I hope you can solve it during writing, because I couldn't even if I invented it myself! xD Great style of writing, and again the question: How much effort does it take you to get all those quotes and detailed info from?
Ranja86 chapter 3 . 12/26/2009
Very good entrance for a new case! It reminds me a bit of this Irene Adler thing.. And where do you get all the names of new OCs? Do you make them up or take any references somewhere? (You know, I haven't read all SH-novels, many names I simply dont know..)
Ranja86 chapter 2 . 12/26/2009
Wow.. astounding! You give the characters true emotions.. and I know how hard it is esp. with Holmes. :3 I'm looking forward to the next chapters! And I would say you're a true fan and lover of the novels, as far I can "deduce" from your work. ;)
Ranja86 chapter 1 . 12/26/2009
Just read the first chapter and got hooked right away! I only read the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, yet I plan to read them all. The way you write, and the way you keep true to the characters is just amazing! Your historical and literary research is also very valuable! And now I see Jude Law as Watson and R. Downey Junior as Holmes.. I personally liked the new movie! Let's see if I can pull the night through to read your whole story..
Arahith chapter 32 . 12/1/2009
First of all, I want to say thank you. You have written an amazing work here. The way you keep true to the characters yet still give them more and more depth is exquisite. I also admire the research you put into this. You weave the story in and out of cannon admirably and your historical accuracy makes me giddier than I probably should be. But where you really shine is in picking up the reader and giving them an emotional and intellectual roller coaster. I very nearly failed my chem exam over this fic and cannot quite find it in myself to feel ashamed because this story is completely worth it.

Your work also has that amazing ability to make one want to go back and read cannon (or watch Jeremy Brett... hm choices choices.) Your style of writing and choice of words brings the adventures to mind.

Normally, I attempt to leave something constructive here and not just glowing praise as one cannot learn without first failing at something but I can find nothing to say. It is a brilliant epic Odyssey which I sincerely hope (and beg!) will be finished.
Melchetta chapter 1 . 11/14/2009
I just LOVE it.

Finished it as far as it is.

Astounding work, I must say.

Still a bit dazed with the 'ending'

Greetings

Melchetta

No, no, that won't do! that won't do at all!

So much to say! So much to explore and bottle out! Josh is a marvellous character by the way - I think i forgot to stress it. Four years of work and I devoured it in two days and now... Gosh, I know you havn't updated in a whole year. O please, please! Take your time, enjoy your writing, but please! Don't let it be like this with Wtason as a jerk and Holmes as a devasted man. (I'm not even talking about the child. I know you respect history in your describing of Josh's rasing-up but anyway it's hard to accept for a modern reader)

You really are a good writer. Thanks again and again for the time you spent for our pleasure :) I really hope to hear about this story again.
koredik chapter 28 . 8/17/2009
The way humankind is creative when it comes to make itself suffer...
koredik chapter 27 . 8/17/2009
I'm still here but I'm dead. More and more. I think you may be stabbing my back with a poisonus dagger through my coffin. So little hope, even if it's the brightest, lost in so thick darknesses...

And so much WORK! So much hours you may have passed, typing and researching for us! I love fics and other piece of work you may relay on to learn some historic, social, or human stuff.
koredik chapter 19 . 8/17/2009
from the highest moutain to the deepest abyss the fall is hard. Sorry if my comments are more and more empty but I can't think properly right now. Just want you to know I'm still here, reading and engrossed like never with a fic.
koredik chapter 18 . 8/17/2009
This story is a field of rabbit holes. I can't make up with a better praise XD
koredik chapter 16 . 8/17/2009
My my... You really are not afraid of difficulties, are you? Playing with history and social realities... I mean, you have done it before, but I feel it was not the same degree of involvment. Bravo, whoever you are. I appreciate the courage in this act. Sometimes writing seems to me like a box match where you have to be ready to recieve blows and suffer to make it trough for the best. I'm rambling. Perhaps you do not see what I mean but my awe is genuine.
koredik chapter 15 . 8/17/2009
Hey again! I'm glad I discovered this fic years after you started it 'cause I would not have survived the waiting. This is marvellous and I like the bit of hormon, bit of feelings, bit of mystery, bit of religion, bit of logic, bit of humor... This melting pot of styles and subjects makes it all real.
koredik chapter 12 . 8/16/2009
angsty! but now I really must put my germs under a thick and warm blanketf. Many thanks for this lovely reading night.
koredik chapter 11 . 8/16/2009
Well that was an entrée! This sister character is quite a twister! Can't wait to see The Encounter with the rest of the little *family* but I somehow doubt it to be painless.
