Oh poor Holmes... and Watson, what will do now?

w00t. loved it up until the last couple chapters- you're in danger of falling into the Moonlighting trap where they don't solve cases, but just stand around moping over each other. too much angst, not enough action- i'm left wondering if the story is ever going to end, or if Watson is just going to keep angsting. love the footnotes and your exploration of Watson's background. Holmes is in danger of going off the map and becoming completely unbelievable. he's gotten way too psychotic. am looking forward to more. please rein things in a little!

I have just read the first 30 chapters in one sitting - from 2am through to 1.45pm. I haven't read much SH fanfic, but what you have written is to fanfic as a fish is to a bicycle.

I cannot state more clearly than to say I have found your story to be brilliant. The way you have overlayed the web you've spun atop the stories of Sir Arthur is masterful, your caracterizations are spot on and the way you've chartered the changes in their relationship is breathtaking. I'm totally impressed. I am so looking forward to the next post, I can only hope it will be soon.

Wonderful. This chapter is utterly believable and human, especially how Holmes both needs and is hurt by Watson, that at least is all too real.

I've been reading your story since about eleven, on and off, and it's now well past two thirty in the morning. And I have work tomorrow morning, early. You must be doing something right!

I fear I'm repeating what has already been said a dozend times but I love ths chapter as well as the rest of this story.

I thought it a quite cute idea that holmes and the boy gave Watson that photo.

But there is something more I have to say: At the moment I'm not quite sure whom of them both I want to kick more...(I think I needn't to remark that I'm still dying of curiosity...)

However this is one thing I really love about your story, all that twists.

e.g.: As Watson was running to that brothel in ch15, I REALLY wanted to seize and shake him (and then send him home to Holmes again). But now in retrospect I'm SO glad he did it.

I mean it makes him so much more human and such little things improve a story so much.

Maybe it became a bit long-winded but I hope you get my point...

Oh how could Holmes shot his sister...no one had seen the killer because he was too short...He said he is the only one who know's the truth about her death.
