Reviews for Confessions of the Master
Rowana S chapter 20 . 3/30/2005
Eleven days *cough*. It was worth it though, more questions! And what on earth could Lestrade possibly know? I'm intrigued. Brilliantly written, as always, and I like the fact that we've been shown more of Mycroft's past in this chapter, it all fits together in a perfectly believable way.

So...how long until the next chapter?
withnail chapter 20 . 3/30/2005
Chapter short, but no less interesting than the others. Ha, Mycroft in love, who would've thought? I'm really looking forward to see what happens next (waiting impatiently :)) and, I must say, you do a splendid job with the footnotes.

cheers
kovacs chapter 19 . 3/29/2005
Great character writing, nice plot and the most credits are awarded to you for writing a story that is so intriguing and suspenseful. Keep going.
Harrysmate chapter 19 . 3/28/2005
I am new to this group.

I really enjoy this story and especially reading about Watsons son Josh and how Holmes relates to him I am really looking forward to more chapters and cannot wait to read them so I hope it will be soon
Mysterylover17 chapter 19 . 3/26/2005
Brilliant chapter! Definatly a twist on Holmes's childhood. This was, like all the other chapters, extremely well written and your characterizations were dead on. I must congradulate you on your wonderful writing style. You are truly a brilliant author. Please update soon, for such a masterpiece cannot be left unfinished.
Canadian Anime Princesseses chapter 19 . 3/25/2005
Whao! That was brilliant! I really liked it alot! Please continue! PRETTY PLEASE?

Holmes is so innocent...XP
withnail chapter 19 . 3/21/2005
Ah, another brilliant chapter. Very emotional too, but of course it couldn't be any different. In short, I'm very impressed again.

I'm curious as to what Watson is going to do after he hears the whole story - forgive? forget (hope not)? and I'm really looking forward to reading the rest (BTW nice to hear you'll update sooner - waiting).

As to units of weight - as far as I know (though I might be wrong), at that time babies were weighed in pounds. Grams belong to decimal (or metric) system, which was used on the continent.
Rue Valeria chapter 19 . 3/19/2005
Aiyah! poor holmes and it's not even his fault! once again, great work! I love the way you write! I'm all hyper again! _ Thank you! _
Rowana S chapter 19 . 3/19/2005
Very interesting. As usual, perfectly in character, good dialogue, the flashbacks worked well too. As this is a chapter giving more answers than questions, it is certainly satisfying. And the way in which we've gradually been introduced to Phillipa was good, i'm looking forward to seeing what happens to her.

Thanks for the email as well. It's going to take something pretty big to win Watson's trust back, i think. Perhaps Holmes baring even more of his soul? I think that we can all see that loyalty and love will not suffice for Holmes...didn't they make that promise several chapters back about not continuing if one didn't hold the other's entire heart? Is trust included?

Well, either way, great chapter. I offer my admittedly somewhat amateurish *cough* services as a proofreader if you ever want someone else to check your story over when you finally do finish writing it. And I think that British babies are weighed in pounds, at least nowadays. Did they have grams or ounces back when Sherlock was born?
gyaahhhhh chapter 19 . 3/18/2005
omg...such a HORRIBLE mother...T_T poor Holmes..

yet i'm so glad that you are updating in a week'_'/

*dances around in her own little happiness
Rowana S chapter 18 . 3/12/2005
I've just re-read your story, having had nothing else to do with my lonely saturday afternoon and the flu to keep me company, so I thought I'd review again. Don't laugh.

I just felt like commenting on the way that trust, as opposed to, or even alongside love is a continuously emphasised theme in your story. It hadn't struck me before, having read your story in bits as it was updated, but it does work very well together as a whole...another hint towards publishing this? I'm sorry, I couldn't help it.

There are a number of small tense, spelling and grammatical errors, particularly in the first few chapters, but they don't really put you off on the first reading because the plot and dialogue are so powerful.

So, feel free to ignore all this except the last line. Please update soon.
loz chapter 18 . 3/4/2005
At first, i was worried how yet another H/W slash would appear, but you have made it so deep and touching. It is such a sad, troubled time for both of the main characters, and through intense detail their friendship is displayed as it progresses up several levels. I must congratulate you on your writing style: very applealing to myself.

Cant wait for the next chapter to be posted!
viu chapter 18 . 3/4/2005
Poor Watson. He was treated by Holmes like that. Could Holmes be a little more sympathetic? Only Watson could forgive such a self-centered man.
Gustavson chapter 18 . 2/28/2005
This is an awesome work. I can't wait to read more. But a question: is this really love what Holmes shows for Watson?
Hansomcab chapter 18 . 2/28/2005
Woderful job again!

Well, well; this last scene .. *screams* .. horrible. Poor victimized Watson, he has too much to swallow. I think I can guess were the story is going. Please up-date soon.
