this was a very well written chapter. the premonitions issue adds a cool supernatural effect to it all. please do us all a favor: write a new chapter as fast as you can and flunk you finals as a result.

I know most people wouldn't believe it, but when my dad died, both my mom and I saw him in dreams pretty much like the ones you described. It reminded me of that. Great chapter, really.

With every chapter your story is a source of constant pleasant surprise for me. So well written and so deliciously lyric!

Out of all what I’ve read of Holmes/Watson slash the absolute best! Simply outstanding! And how perfectly natural their feeling seem, one can’t help but believing them. And the plot is exquisite, how you thought every detail, especially the historical background concerning the attitude towards homosexuality. For other fiction writers, IMHO, sometimes dismiss the issue ignorantly.

As to a bit of CC, Josh is a bit too smart for his age, really too smart how can a child be possible that clever? Some of the children in this age can hardly bind two words together. Though I understand - he is exceptional - at first I had a suspicion in some bizarre way he’ll turn out to be Holmeses son.

But this is not nice of me to pick on trifles!

So let me bow at your mastership!

I have waited this chapter for a long time.I think everyone would feel rather relieved that watson's sister finally leave him alone. Watson and Holmes kissed! more kissing scene~ lol

Brillant as always. Your characterisation of Holmes and Watson is remarkable. You have created a believable Holmes/Watson story, which, before I had read this, thought was impossible. Bravo.
