interesting change for spike and buffy. hope they clear spikes name and give angel what he deserves

Very interesting idea placing Buffy, Spike and the BTVS characters in a crime drama. I enjoyed the story immensely and believe Spike's statement in the last chapter that Dru would've like Buffy-as long as Dru ended up with someone other than Spike, that is!

Have never done this before but just had to comment on how much I enjoyed this story. I loved the way you split the chapters into two telling the same story but from another point of view. I also loved the way you slowly revealed what had happened that night so that at first we were never sure if Spike really had killed her. A genuinely moving story with real depth of character - brilliant! Only vague criticism is that it felt a little rushed by the end, but maybe that was just me not wanting it to end. Thank you.

I'd just like to say that I loved the ending. very rarely do I read a story with a non-cheesy ending that works but this did and I love it.

only major lack of proper sleep and too much partying prevented me from reading it all the first time i came across. i'm glad i remembered it somehow and came back to read the complete story. you did a good job writing a darker story than your usual writing, really. be assured i'll be there reading if you ever feel like writing another one.

WOW! That was just incredible! Massive kudos to you for completeing that story as I know you were always so worried about it being so different. But it was truly amazing! I lvoed the ending...though you had me quite freaked when Angel found the wire, I didn't know what was gonna happen.

Anyhoo, as I said, Innocence was brilliant, chapter by chapter, and certainly as a whole. And if you decide to consider another story so dark, know that you'll always have support from this little corner of the world, as you truly excel at it.
