| Aria Breuer chapter 1 . 12/16/2012
This is a good drabble.
I like how you relate this to everyone first, since that seems apparent and true. This makes sense, given what happened to Frodo's parents and how he must have found some way to keep his grief hidden from others, even when they may have noticed he was grieving. Your last line actually reminds me of the first dream I had of Frodo - ironic, at least from my perspective. I think I can hear either Samwise Gamgee's father, Hamfast Gamgee, or Sam himself saying these words about Frodo's loss.

This is a very philosophical and insightful piece.
| Lily Dragonquill chapter 1 . 7/9/2004
I knew clicking my way through would lead me to some good short stories.
These are some very interesting thought though it's also very sad.

Is this our beloved Hamfast Gamgee, once more the prophet of observant wisdom? I have always seen him as a hobbit that sees more than others and knows more than he lets on. There is definately a wisdom to be revered in the hobbit that raised one such as Sam Gamgee. A lovely drabble.

*sniff* poor Frodo, wise beyond his years
