![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the nice tale. I was gratified to see that Harry was a good dad - kinda like I am w/ my oldest son. I hope you are thinking about a follow-up. By the way, you could have done a lot more w/ Draco, and the Snape was well within character, considering how much time had passed according to the premise of the book. |
![]() ![]() Voldemort I: The Dark Lord Rises ? lol |
![]() ![]() ![]() God! That, was pure genius! This story is exceptional, you are really talented at creating worlds. I know this story is fan fiction… but it’s actually a totally different world, though nobody’s OOC. Loved Arthur till the end. And I’m glad you didn’t make him go thru something really horrible… Loved it.(I think I’ve said that before… hm…) You are great at catching emotions, too. You made all of the characters’ fears real, and believable. Loved it.(here I go again…) Thank you for this incredible story. It made me all warm and fuzzy inside. Loved it.(oh… well… I did…) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved all the videogames analogies… So funny! Loved it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! Brilliant! You really haven’t seen 50 First Dates? Anyway… it’s a great story… super plot. And Arthur is sweet and so confident! I’m going to read the rest now… I just can’t wait… I’m so happy it’s finished! And the part with the ice cream… that made so veridical, so “HarryPotterish”. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I may have reviewed here before; I'm not sure. I saw you were reposting this over at OWL and I couldn't resist slipping back here to read the entire story in one sitting. So now, at 2:25am, I'm sitting here bleary-eyed, but very grateful that the entire story was available! This story has always captured my imagination, perhaps, because of Arthur's unique perspective, more fully than most HP fic is capable of. I love how similar and yet not he is to his father. His reactions to the wizarding world make a lot of sense given his circumstances, and I find myself admiring his individuality and sense of independence. In those, he is definitely similar to his father. He simply exhibits those traits in a different way due to the differences in their upbringing and personalities. Anyway, should the mood ever hit you, I'd love to see a continuation on this! Arthur is such a distinct, personable character that I'm quite interested in seeing where he goes from here. Thank you! |
![]() ![]() So, I'm loving this story. It's cool to have the muggle's eyes view of the wizarding world, and to see Arthur be pulled unwillingly into magic. Ever read the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce? It's not anything like this, but it has a similar-ish pretense. One thing though- you need a grammar beta. Alot of the time I see your/you're and there/they're/their mistakes, as well as commonly mistakes homonyms. You could be the best fanfiction writer on earth, but bad grammar detracts from the quality of your work and makes it harder to get immersed in the story. Your appreciative reader, Livi |
![]() ![]() ![]() gee, I was looking forward to Harry and Ginny getting together to have a yours mine ours |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice one |
![]() ![]() ![]() this story is beyond precious. |
![]() ![]() ![]() An excellent story. I like how you wrote Harry and how he accepted Arthur just the way he was, anyway he was. As a parent I really related to your Harry. cdk |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting story. A very nice idea, and poignant for Arthur. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful story you have here! _ I saw the summary on your page a few times, but I haven't read it until today. I'm so glad I did! Your writing is original, as always, and the plotlines are interesting. The characters are refreshing, as well. It's still saddens me that Harry doesn't remember his wife, but that's what's also good about your writing. Not everything needs to be perfect and happy. It gives your stories a nice touch of realism that a lot of writers lack in. Do keep it up! I'm off to read another before I go to bed _ |
![]() ![]() Very good story. I'm glad I finally got around to reading it. |
