| Nemo Returning chapter 13 . 6/2/2005
It seems that the illegal Animagi training is about to begin :)
And that was an interesting tidbit about the misterious "soldiers" - as far as I could remember, they're your own invention, and JKR never mentioned anything about a wizarding army - - and certainly nothing about what the hell a British wizarding army has to do with M'bwaa...
Care to enlighten your readers? ;)
... Then again, maybe you already did, and I just have to read 20 or so chapters more to find it out :)
| Nemo Returning chapter 12 . 5/19/2005
Some toil and trouble in the cauldron, eh? What a surprise :)
Then of course, wars always come as a surprise - even for those who are activelly working to bring them on...
And Severus just promised to stop being a child? Alas, he's just the kind of man to make *and* hold on to such a promise :(
| Nemo Returning chapter 11 . 5/19/2005
Ah... Could it be that Severus's enigmatic nature is inherent after all?
You're Lance is... well, worth some attention, to put it mildly :)
| Nemo Returning chapter 10 . 5/12/2005
I still think that 12 years in Azkaban is a rather harsh punishment... but maybe not very harsh...
| FireWeaver chapter 31 . 5/12/2005
Ah ...ingenius writing...ah...so good *google eyes* you...are...my...hero...I couldn't even read all thechapters at the same time because I'd be so overwhelmed and have to stand up and walk for a bit...you are...ingenius...
| Nemo Returning chapter 9 . 5/10/2005
I wonder, will she ever see beyond the appearances?
The way those four are getting away with things, while Severus pays all the bils, is simply depressing...
P.S. An interesring Mr. Lupin here, a Muggle far more adept in wizarding politics than Hogwarts' Deputy Headmistress :)
| Nemo Returning chapter 8 . 5/7/2005
Nice meeting and much too nice McGonnagal :)
... and the astoundig ressemblance between the "light" Sirius and his "dark" relatives...
| Me chapter 31 . 4/8/2005
Aw... poor widdle Snape. I mean, I was expecting his mother to die eventually, but this seemed very sudden. I was suprised by the suddeness of her death- Nice work!
| Athena Keating-Thomas chapter 31 . 4/8/2005
Wah! I feel terribly for the Snapes. And what a place to leave it off. But I shouldn't be complaining about cliffhangers, considering. At least you seem to be updating much more regularly than I've been. *guilty look* Time for me to write. Your story is fantastic so far. Please keep it up! Just a mention- I added your story to the SnapeAngst C2. ;)
| Athena Keating-Thomas chapter 30 . 4/8/2005
Interesting little "authority problem" that Severus has. I do wonder how she handled him towards the end of that class though. Hopefully she'll help him work things out during his "transfiguration tutoring".
| Athena Keating-Thomas chapter 29 . 4/8/2005
Yeow! A very powerful chapter full of stuff I love to read about. ;) I only wish (and hope) that we'll learn much more about what was contained behind the two words "Snape did"- as in- what did he tell McGonnagal? Looking forward to the rest, and seeing more chapters from you soon. :)
| Athena Keating-Thomas chapter 28 . 4/8/2005
Yeow. Well. A few things came out in that chapter, didn't they? I just wanted to mention catching the occasional grammar issue- for instance, Dumbledore's statement "You are the first second-year I am to encounter..." should be "You are the first second-year I have encountered". Also, earlier, "– even I hoped /I that he would discover the poison" took a minute to figure out what was meant. ;)
| Athena Keating-Thomas chapter 27 . 4/8/2005
O- lots more teasing hints about Snape and Robertson, a surprisingly civil conversation with Sirius leading to an accusation. Suspense! Angst! Anticipation! ;)
| Athena Keating-Thomas chapter 26 . 4/8/2005
Black Male. Heh. Heh heh. And amazing- Snape was fighting with someone else? Details? I suspect we may hear more since it involved mysterious reasons for a picture to be taken down and Snape's being out of potions class (Robertson again)...
| Athena Keating-Thomas chapter 25 . 4/8/2005
A very odd combination of reactions between Snape and Robertson. Definitely looking forward to learning more of /that/ background. ;)
