It took me so long to read this chapter. I stopped a couple of times. I was internally screaming "Vegeta go save her" and at that point i didn't know if i was talking about the other women or Bulma. I wanted him so save both. I was just conflicted. I wanted to get in there and beat the hell out of those rapist and punch Vegeta for letting Bulma go through that. She didn't deserve that.

[She drew back her hand and with all her might she slapped Vegeta full across the face.]

I would have punched him.

[If he hadn't already staked a claim on her he would have handed her over to the merchant and taken the food, but as it was he felt unnaturally possessive of her. He wanted no man's hands on her, to either punish her as the General had or to violate her as this worm wanted to do.]

["She is nothing to you. She had nothing to do with your incarceration. It was me who caged you." Her voice dropped down into a sly whisper and her eyes narrowed with malice. "It was me who defeated you."]

She really knows how to get to him.

[When General Lee had struck her he had felt intolerable rage, even in his drugged state. His anger was born from another man daring to strike what he had claimed as his prey. Nothing would happen to the woman unless he deemed it so.]

Yes, this is so Vegeta.

Omg what an amazing chapter. I enjoyed every single word of this chapter. Goodness this story gets better and better.

Loved the tension when Vegeta told her to take off the scarf.

Know I’m VERY late, but I loved this! Haven’t read a big fic in years, but this one sucked me in. It was a great concept from the start. It’s harder and harder to find fanfiction that allows characters and their relationships to be flawed or possibly unhealthy—but you let every character be their worst selves at times, which is refreshing. Loved Vegeta’s characterization. Bulma’s was different from others I’ve seen, and I think it made a cool dynamic. Satisfying when characters hold each other accountable. The gore was genuinely sickening, so kudos there. Overall a great story! Your prose skills are great, probably loads better all these years later. Thank you!

I read this years ago as a teenager and it was favorited for me to enjoy in the future. Now that I’m reading it again, I’m enraptured just as I was as a kid. But it’s missing the lemons! Where can I read them? I don’t see a functional site link
