![]() ![]() ![]() wow! That was really eye-opening! Please, I wish for Luke and Lorelai to have a baby, so can you make it happen pls! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is definitely one of the funniest GG fics ever! My favorite moments up to this chapter are Kirk's family and the will, plus Lorelai's apology. Loved these! |
![]() ![]() My god this was fantastic! Superb writing and love your Lorelai and Luke characterizations. Thanks so much for sharing, adored this so. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is fantastic and so realistic. Having a chronic illness is hard, but in some ways dealing with everyone else while you do is even harder because there's nothing to be done about the illness except deal with it. Other people's feelings are even more exhausting than your own sometimes. I like that it's Luke who has the hardest time of it. We know he hates hospitals desperately, his mother died young, and his father when Luke was old enough to be his carer so he's had both experiences and clearly has been very deeply affected. Plus dealing with Kirk's loss and grief and being executor, no wonder he's totally freaking out. I love his compulsive need to build and fix things showing up. I also love that there's room for Rory to deal with the Dean situation and especially Emily and Richard. I particularly love how the self-help book makes the rounds after Richard gets hold of it (and Lorelai never getting the chance to find out what's so great about it!) and also Richard completely oblivious to Leslie's identity while Emily knows! |
![]() ![]() Loved this version of their life after the kisses. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Waitig for him to him and all the stalling was annoying get to the point |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved the story, made me cry a few times, but the last chapter was more than a little anti-climactic and lacked real closure. |
![]() ![]() Beautiful story. The last chapter was absolutely amazing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() heya, this was a really good story, not to mention the very diferent but still good ending. keep writing. "Fan Fiction is a really great distraction from the sometimes harshness of reality." -destiny062 |
![]() ![]() I loved this story, as I always do when I read anything you write. I loved that everyone became so obsessed with the book and wish Lorelai had read it. It was a nice touch that they did not have children and that everything did not rap up the way we always romanticize things to do. I prefer the lovey dovey thing but I am still young and with age will come to learn there is more to live than this..."No, not a perfect valentine ending, but pretty damn good." Loved this line summed up the story so well especially reading this on valentines day cheers looking forward to more stories |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey there, just wanted to tell you what a great job you do of characterising the StarsHollow folk, especially Lorelai and Luke! So many stories seem to just miss their beat or humour, and it makes so much better reading when authors like you get it right so yay! Really liking the story so far _ (only read chapter 1 as yet though!) SpringSnow |
![]() ![]() ![]() so i just stumbled across this story today. And despite this being finals week, spent the better part of the day reading it, completely entranced by it. I must say it was beautifully written. You have a wonderful way with words. While it wasn't the typical Luke/Lorelai story that most of us are used to reading... i feel like it was still very true to the characters that we all love so much. I really felt like that was how this whole thing would play out should this be an actual storyline. I was especially impressed with the way you handled Luke in the situation. So... anyway... well done! :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was so amazing and beautiful. |
![]() ![]() loving all the pride and prejudice allusions! |
![]() ![]() netherfield, this was really and truly excellent. I started reading today at work, since I was in a blue funk over the whole 5.14 ep, and this so did the trick, I ended up not working and read through the day. (Well, not working as much as possible, in spite of the fact that people kept calling and actually expecting me to DO stuff. gah. dumb people.) Extremely well written, and I can so hear the cadance of their voices and see it. Excellent work. |
