I'm sad you're ending it here I was hoping for some kind of big revelation scene where Snape discovers Harry is Imber. Maybe we can see a sequel in the future? I know you are probably happy to be done with it here, but there are so many plot holes to fill- especially since I just finished reading it for the...fourth? fifth time? It sort of felt like two different stories were happening since Imber stopped being a really relevant part of the story and was mostly just an easy plot tool once Harry returned to Hogwarts for the school year.
There was this whole unexplored dynamic with Snape, I really want to see what happens if Snape discovers that Imber is an animagus (and Harry Potter) or even just having Imber return to him. Even Fawkes was adorable in this story

Aww you have ended writing this story. I started to reread chapters 27 & 28 again like you suggested and ended up rereading the whole story again to make sense. To find out that you basically have finished it. I don't do AO3 so I guess this will be goodbye to any future reading of your stories.
