Reviews for A Promise of Tomorrow |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yay! _ I love Lorne. He's so...green! XD! Anyway, so far, extremely good! Just a little nitpick - for future demon-vanishing-clouds, sulfur and brimstone are the same thing. Brimstone is an archaic name for sulfur. _() Like I said, picking at nits. So...keep it up, hun! |
![]() ![]() very good, brilliant fight scenes and interesting plot. really enjoyed seeing sweet again, and glad lorne didn't leave his friends to die. brilliant. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I never said I didn't like the story. It's well written and original. I do think, though, that had time been stopped just before Lindsey died, he could have been included somehow. What happened to him was unfair (he had just successfully accomplished his mission, and Angel had made promises to him that he trusted). Lorne's killing of Lindsey was cold-blooded murder and nothing less, and I'll never like him again, although I loved him before. He and Angel do not deserve happiness because of what they did to Lindsey. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sorry but this ending really upsets me. I truly believed that Lindsey intended to stay on the side of good and didn't deserve to be murdered. I still do. Maybe Wes couldn't have been brought back, and maybe he didn't want to be without Fred, but Lindsey could & should have been saved, even if it meant that he & Eve would have to leave Los Angeles. I know there's an epilogue coming, so please save Lindsey. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've been asking for Lindsey to be saved, but I forgot about Wes. Can both of them be saved? And can Fred be restored? |
![]() ![]() ![]() A well-written and intriguing chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is extremely well-written and exciting. I do think one more sword would have been of some use to them, however (and maybe even a sword and a machine gun in Eve's hands!). |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, I'm back because it would appear Lorne has a chance to turn back time. If so, and if he's really sorry he shot Lindsey, now's the time to do something about it. His sword would have been of use in the battle, and it's possible that he could have helped turn the tide. Also they could be wrong about him. I think they are. Give him a chance to prove himself. I forgot to say in my earlier review that I resented Lorne comparing him to a Pylean sliggerslug. That's a nasty thing to say about a character who is the favorite of many besides me. It's a good thing this isn't a Star Trek story or you'd have called him a Denebian Slime Devil! |
![]() ![]() I'd nearly forgotten about this story, though I don't know why. I must have lost the link. I'm loving this thing. It just gets better and better, I can't wait to read more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love it and completely agree with the previous reviewer about the evilness lol. Write more soon. |
![]() ![]() NICE! where's blue thunder? also...where's Gunn? |
![]() ![]() ok...YOU GOT ME INTRIGUED. plz update soon. |
![]() ![]() ok...YOU GOT ME INTRIGUED. plz update soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm starting to really get into this story. Oh, and the cliffhanger? You are an evil person. ;p Imzadi, not to be rude or anything, but could you tone down the Lorne-and-Angel hate just a bit? Every reveiw I've seen of yours is flaming them. You can tell just by watching that scene that Lorne didn't want to do it, and by the by, Lindsey *did* die in the final battle. Cheers all~~The Hostess |
![]() ![]() ![]() I was ready to give this story a nice review, even after what Lorne did to Lindsey, until I read that paragraph and the horribly nasty things Lorne thought about him. I believe that that was not true and that, at the very least, Lindsey deserved a chance to die in the final battle. I don't give a damn what happens to Lorne any more except that I hope it's long and very, very painful. And also that lying Angel. How dare he tell Lindsey he wants him (no slash intended) and then kill him once he's done his job. How dare they both! |
