Wow that was so dramatic. The long speeches make your characters seem so eloquent but I’m just grateful that they’re articulate so we can get into their heads. Sirius telling her off was legit. I like it when Lily has recognisable flaws.

I’m two chapters in and I’m already pretty amazed at the nuances of James and Lily. I like Gideon as a plot device. It makes sense. The maurauder fight also makes sense. I’m super excited to see how you develop this!

I love the intensity of their relationship, and I loved the beautiful fluffy moment between them when thy were finally honest with each other and just let themselves feel! Eeeeeee

James parents were considered older even for wizards, and they were so thankful to have him, that they spoiled and doted on him and even Sirius. I’m not sure why youve made them to be distant parents that are more concerned with work? It doesn’t really fit his character imo. He’s the way that he is because of their spoiling.

It’s weird reading this story over 10 years later! It’s pretty accurate expect for the exclusion of Severus. Considering book 7 wasn’t out it’s really great! I think most of her animosity came from James’s treatment of Sev and with her knowing how terrible his home life was just made it even worse. Plus the hatred between Severus and James was also rivalry for Lily’s affections.
