And then Harry heard the sound of the front door opening.
"Harry? I'm back." Called Remus, turning into the front room.
Harry and Katie quickly pulled away from each other, trying to ignore the frantic beating of their hearts and the blush covering both their faces. Remus raised an eyebrow and pressed his lips together to keep from laughing, trying to look stern instead.
"Don't get too carried away," Remus said, causing Harry's blush to last much longer than Katie's, "I'll be upstairs reviewing... stuff... if you need me, Harry." Remus turned to the stairs and trotted up them, leaving a mutter behind him of, "Not that you will, by the looks of things..."
Katie couldn't hold herself in anymore and started guffawing: loud, long, from-the-belly laughs that seemed to be forced from her. Soon, Harry joined in, and they sat on the couch together to talk aimlessly for the next few hours. That's not to say, of course, that there were no pauses in the conversation, but one doesn't kiss and tell.

That's totally what I just imagined at the end of this chapter. What do you think? :)

Why did you never finish this story? It's pretty good. I'm more into your other story but if this one had a mroe developed plot line, I'd probably get absorbed into this one too.
