I think this is one of the better stories I have ever read on . Your characterizations are perfect, and Persephone is so amazingly kickass, so real...Wow. Seriously.

I just sat down and read all of this after finding the pictures for it on dA. This was one of the best stories that I have ever read and it's now one of my favorite ones as well. I would like to see you continue someday, hopefully, but hey, things happen!

I got to say the concept is really intriguing. And I hope this mysterious past of Hades is slowly going to be revealed. Maybe it will shed some light on his fiery hair due.

I found this story via a link on LJ. I've read Disneyfied Hades/Persephone stories before, and while some were entertaining, none hold a candle to this. Not even close. I read in your comment that this took you two years, and I believe it. This is an epic story. I found it on a Friday, and I've been re-reading it all weekend.

It actually got me to look up the Hercules TV series on YouTube (I've never been interested, was hesitant about the potential clash of modern/ancient civilizations) and I kept going "Oh look, there's the Lethe Water from 'Hope Springs Eternal!' or 'Ah, so the River Styx does have a human-ish form like in 'Hope Springs Eternal.'" I've never been big on the Hercules fandom, 'cause really, when you only love a villain, it cuts out a lot of the rest of the movie. But you really opened up and expanded on the best part of the Hercules Disney Universe, and of real Greek mythology, for me. So thank you for sharing your hard work and passion with the rest of the world.

Wow... that was pretty damn amazing. Not only because the story was both highly amusing and enjoyable, but the amount of research you must have done for the footnotes alone is staggering. Now I want to go off and research the story of Hades and Persephone in depth too... -longing sigh-

XD this is by far one of the greatest fanfictions I have ever read! I have always loved this story in greek mythology but you took it a step further and Disney-ized it in a freaking fantastic way! 83 Truely it was wonderfully written, and oh so humorous! I loved all the snarky remarks and the fluff N' stuff between Hades and Persephone! I admit I lost a lot of sleep trying to read your entire story in one day... which sadly didn't work out, at 1:30am last night I gave up and just had to come back as soon as I got the time lol

also *bows down* seriously all the mythology research you did can easily be seen in your story, especially the last chapter . It was a cornicopia of love all around XD Really though it's astounding how much info you jampacked into your story! This is definately one of my all time favorites! Amazing amazing job! Interesting chapter. Certainly answers question that I was developing to ask. This chapter cleared it up.

Pretty good start. On my end I don't like Zeus, Apollo, or even Poseidon. Yet, they did produce legends. By inappropriate methods. By sleeping with married women, Seducing, raping them, the list goes on. How they are so respected is beyond me. It's as though they respected all of this. Anyways, I always favored Hades. I always wondered why he took the position of Ruler of the Underworld.

I hate the misinterpretation that he is evil, gloom, and so many description that deal with dark themes. He rules the underworld he isn't actually death itself. Which, many people fear so they easily put two and two together thus the bad reputation he obtained. Anyways, I love the introduction of each character.

Oh... Wow. That has to be one of the best things I've read in a long time. You capture the voices of the characters perfectly, most especially James Woods as Hades, whom I absolutely loved. You also managed to balance the archaic and anachronistic elements of the Disney series PERFECTLY, which is very hard to do. And the SONGS! Oh my gosh, they were incredible. Did you write music for them, or just treat them as poetry? Once again, this is lovely, and I will eagerly await anything you might write, in any venue.

Oh wow! This story was awesome! One of the most beautiful engaging reads I've had in a long time, and about one of my fav Disney movies, one of my fav Disney characters, just wow oh wow! :) Definitely a favorite! I do hope you write more about Hades, even if its a different story altogether, you write awesome!
