this story is great!

I am at a loss for words to describe how wonderfully done this story was. As I read this, it was as if I had truly been reading a published book. The detail was beautiful and I'm such a stickler for accuracy that I loved reading your little tid-bits at the end of each chapter. This was phenomenally done. :) Congrats!

hey. i like your story so far. at the end of this chapter though there was somethin about story illustrations? i tried the site and it didn't work. i was interested in looking at them. was there another site that had them on there? hm. well i'm gonna go read more of your story. i love it. : )

I forgot to say earlier that I LOVED Persephone! She's just amazing in your story! And she and Hades... well, amazing! According to what I've read, Persephone would have gone with Hades anyway, if he had asked her. She wanted to go, but she hated him for kidnapping her. But I liked the way you've put it, kind of starts to show Hades is not that brutal man everyone thinks he is. That's exactly what I think of him, too. I like him, although I've never read much about him. I think of Him as a Selfish God, but he really loves Persephone and doesn't want her to feel bad.

Wow! I actually can see a movie going on here. Really, it would be a GREAT idea for a Disney movie. I really think they could do something with Persephone...

But I really liked what I've read until now, and I'm sure I'm gonna like it more!

I love it - a funny take on the myths. I've never quite seen Persephone as the helpless victim - and if she ever was, it doesn't last when she becomes queen of the Underworld - so good on you for not portraying her that way. I like your portrayal of Aphrodite - for an interesting take on her, read 'Pagan Meditations' by Ginette Paris.

I just finished your story and I absolutely feel that you should be given a standing ovation. This story has been beautifully written. I love how you capture the true personality of Hades... instead of making him a "evil" guy.

In the end, you need to have a temple built for you.

First off, I have to say that I love this story. Hades had always been my favorite character in 'Hercules' (the bad guys always are more interesting) and I'm thrilled to see him expanded to the potential you could tell was around the corner. To use a lot of lame metaphors, or whatever... Anyway! I love how rich a character Hades is, and that Persephone is a spitfire instead of the helpless damsel-in-distress that she's usually depicted as. And I cannot tell how much I am thankful that you didn't let him be a rapist.

I enjoyed this story very, very much (to the point of reading it when I should be working on some other thing... XP)

The funniest thing, is that I've seen you around before. I recently read and fell in love with Good Omens and was looking around DeviantArt for some fanart and found your gallery! (which I enjoyed greatly) And then I was browsing fanfiction and read your seuql to the story, loved it, but couldn't remember the author- or where I'd read it for that matter. My memory is terrible. And *then* I was browsing FF's GO fanfiction, and found your sequel again! (~flashback~ Me: Score!) And, of course, I had to see what else you'd written... and so here we are.

Sorry for the ramble. I'm not usually this bad. To recap, I love your story and eagerly await that continuation you mentioned. Oh! And I am amazed at your detailed research- flabbergasted, really. I am in awe of you!

Thankyou for such a beautiful, witty, charming story, just when I needed it. The amount of time, energy, and love you have spent on this story - both in research and construction - is amazing, and shows in all that you have done. This may be an old story of yours, but the effort you have spent on it is NOT in vain, if only for the occasional people that happen upon it, and light up with joy. The illustrations are truly lovely too... God help me, you've even inspired me to start sketching again - and I ain't no artist, sugar! ;P

Isn't it so exciting though, to blur that wonderful line between the facts you find, and the happenings of your imagination? I've had that fun in the past, and I can tell that's what kept you going on this one...and as you get deeper into the story, all that apparently 'superfluous' information you've picked up along the way starts magically falling into place as you write. And it works!
