Wow. This is fantastic. Fascinating imagining of what life may have been like for Boromir and Faramir before we encounter them in the war of the ring, beautiful depiction of brotherly love. I also liked the gentle depiction of Denethor's growing paranoia. Thanks for a great story.

very cool... I like the way you turned Denethor's thoughts about his sons into politics and rivalry - not quite how I see it, but effective.

That was really good. I always love the Boromir/Faramir stories, and this is one of the better ones. I like how you portray their relationship. I especially loved how Boromir stood up to Denethor; I'd love to be able to see that! And you didn't make Denethor a one-sided monster, but rather a very complicated man, and I really liked that, too.

Loved it! The relationship between the brothers and their father was great, perfect amount of tenderness and tension. It's always nice to see how Boz looks after his little brother!

I absolutely love the way you portray the brothers. Sick and vulnerable Faramir...that's unusual. ;) The thing that really shines thru here tho is the love between Faramir and his Big Broamir.
