Er... fairly good. But you do know the majority of the Noldor were Golden-haired? The Vanyar had a very light golden hair, some even seemed silver, but the Noldor were mainly dark golden-haired. Feanor and most of his sons were exceptions to the rule...

However, many Sindar dwelt in Gondolin, they went with Turgon there. Most of the Sindar hair was dark, so I guess it might fit.
