I am truly delighted that you've decided to pick this up again! It was a great treat to read the first six chapters you had up here again plus the four additional chapters you've written! It's really interesting to see how much thought and work you've put into this! Not only is this a really well-written fic with original characters, but you've managed to incorporate each chapter into two parts of what a full episode of the series, have a selection of classical music tailored to each section as background music, and even next episode previews! I must applaud you for your hard work, and I eagerly await more chapters! It's really exciting to go through these and imagine them like I'm watching a third season of the series going through my head with many more references to ballets, plays, operas, mythological works, etc. your hard work has certainly paid off, and I'm excited that there is more to come!

So sorry I've not been posting reviews as I go along, but I've been reading on and off when I have some spare time (or just make some time) over the past month or so. I LOVE what you have been doing! It is gorgeously put together, and fits the original format soooo very well! And there is so much character development! And the new characters are fantastic too! And... I could just go on! I've yet to read/listen to the music you've made available simultaneously, but it's obvious that you've got a great ear for what fits. Thank you for sharing that wonderfulness.

Oh, how I love the ending! It gets really, really cosmic! Quest for the Norns, yeah! And as always, the preview is furiously tempting. Especially when there's Rue. I love her, and she has had very few scenes recently, even if, of course, she was still awesome in it.

But I shall start from the beginning. Ahiru on her way to becoming friends with Pike and Lilie again made me so happy! I was already squeeing at the first scene.

Oh, when she can't transform anymore! It's one of the things I adore with this fic: of course, I love the overall plot. But I'm also intrigued by _and emotionally invested in every chapter (or episode :-) ) story!

I also loved a lot the part with Yagiko and Neko. And another teacher who will not have lasted long!

I'm curious about why Sagi can take the shard more easily than the others, is it because she had less awful things in her life, or because she has some kind of connexion to Caras, or some other thing. Oh, and I'm happy Autor was here too. I have a weird fondness for him - even if I love when you mock him too, of course. Having his interaction with Takako-san was a nice move, bringing exposition about the origin of her magic _with_ characterization.

Still my favourite Princess Tutu fanfic ever!

I'm so happy there are new chapters for this fic!

First, as I was saying, I did try to read it again, nad there's a problem with chapter 4. I only get the chapter 2. I had to go back to LJ to re-read it. I hope it's temporary or you can fix it.

But let's talk about the story! I loved Rue's dream, and the reminder of what happened between Autor and Rue. I love all your new characters and storylines, of course, but mentioning the old ones makes this come alive even more, especially for Author, who didn't have a lot of nice moments before in the fic.

I love what you did with the new teacher a lot. I also love what happens with the heart shards. You use the episode structure very well. There's this story just for this time, but progress in the overall story too... I liked that Uzura got to give the feather to Ahiru and Fakir, and I'm very intesrested by what will happen to her now. The confusion about the note was very funny. I loved the scene with Trutho and Sagi, and I definitely don't have the feelings that other fics give me "let's go back to the canon characters".

The story with Mytho and Komaro, until now, was quite detached from the Kinkan plot. I love how you mixed them by having Mytho forced to lent his strength to Ahiru for her to transform into Tutu. It gives back a feeling of all of it being at the same time for reasons.

And of course, the last revelation, with Emma! I was hoping for it a little, I'm happy it happens now. Really, this story has a superb construction. It didn't change since seven years: I'm still almost as excited when I read this than when I watch the series. And I love your next episode peaks so much! I'm happy we won't have to wait as long this time!

"At least back then, Mytho did what I told him..." ~Haha, I think that was probably my favorite line in this episode. :D But everything was wonderfully written as always. _ I've been curious since chp about how Drosselmeyer could still control the story, and now you've only piped my interest even more. "If they knew what breaking that machine truly meant..." How ominous... I wonder what he means by that...

The dance with Princess Tutu and Helmina was beautiful as well and literally took my breath away. Every single moment was described incredibly. And since Tutu reappeared, I wonder if Kraehe will too... Still wondering what role Rue will play, and Sagi as well... The suspense is really building, and I'm anxious to discover what will happen. I really, truly, sincerely hope you'll update soon!

*sighs* Another wonderful episode! The part with the Lake Spirit was amazingly written, and I love how you turned Ahiru back into a girl by her own will - it really keeps Fakir in character because then he's not manipulating ppl's lives. And then the whole part with Caras... wow, simply incredible! I love the back story you've got, and I'm curious as to what he's up to... stealing a shard from Myra, and then the whole part with Trutho... and I wonder if it was Rue he was looking at since she was the Raven's false daughter...

Wonderful episode! Can't wait to read the next. :D

Only on chapter one and I am completely hooked... The entire chapter was just so wonderfully written! You've kept all the characters perfectly IC, and I'm glad that you've kept Ahiru as a duck because that's how the series ended. Trutho and Sagi both seem like really great characters, and I'm curious as to what role they'll play out in the story. Your writing style is exquisite and the description is beautiful. I can totally imagine this as the third season, just as you've intended. You seem also to have a really deep plot going, and I'm super curious as to where this will all go. :)

Anyways, I've noticed that you haven't updated since 2006, but if the rest of the story is as good as this chp (which I'm sure it is _), then I really do hope that you'll update soon!

I was particularly intrigued by the introduction of the Norns and can't wait to see how/when the valkyries and valravn will play into things (will Caras become a valravn, devouring the human heart that is somehow within him? that by the way, is also something I'm wondering about-just whose heart is it? how did it end up inside him? and where will trickster/creator raven come into things, unless it is Drosselmeyer himself, the ultimate trickster/creator in PT 'verse?)

Ah, I can't wait to see Uzura with Ahiru-their interactions are some of my favorite moments in the anime.

Ah I absolutely loved the meta level the conversation took betwen Helmina and Caras near the end: “I…must have their very hearts!” Because, really, isn't that what writers are after?
