I like the combination of the formal manner and Elizabeth's sense of humor emerging at the end.

| somedaydreamer chapter 1 . 9/4/2004

| Nerweniel chapter 1 . 8/29/2004
Adored it from the first to the last word- the last remark about Mary made me giggle... You captured Austen's spirit very well! Congrats!
| Xaviere Jade chapter 1 . 8/14/2004
Excellent! Properly Victorian, with a great sense of voice. Period discourse is very difficult to write and you've done it splendidly.
| Jack Robinson chapter 1 . 8/12/2004
This is very well written, it's very like Austen's style, which many people (including myself) don't manage. It's very realistic of their future, and you've really captured Elizabeth's witty side, it's very funny, which is hard to achieve when writing in this style. Well done! JR x
| jowa chapter 1 . 8/3/2004
i liked it-written very much in the style of the book which must be hard to do. I also liked the little P.s you put in there-"Disdain and Delicacy." yes, what a bizarre story. maybe a return letter in the future?
