I liked this story the first time I read it on the TIW site. . . . how many years ago? It's still just as good, though someone who isn't famaliar with the TIW page might get confused.

I corretly guessed the ending the first time as well. I very much enjoy New Gen fics from Marlene and Sera's viewpoints anyway. Or evenMacross fics from Miriya's prespective. I guess the 'alien trying to be human/understand humanity' stories just draw me in somehow.
