Anyway the quality of your chapters and the speediness of your uploading, in my opinion, put you head and shoulders above a lot of authors, myself included(although that's not saying much). I liked the small cameos of the other characters, just there long enough not to steal too much time from Shikamaru. |

I'm ashamed to admit it, not being a normally tearful person, but I started to tear up a little bit toward the end there when Shika/Ino actually talked just a bit. Maybe they're finally going to work things out! The only bad thing about this is that the story might wind down. And then I'll really bawl. As for your author's note, I'm the same way in my stories - I do leave some things out because they are not "vital" information. Some fics tend to get bogged down in the details. Myself, I would rather get to the meat of the story. So, I see where you're coming from. And now I'm eagerly awaiting Chapter 23! |

| esther chapter 21 . 10/9/2004 wow, interesting... good to see chouji and naomi are making progress, chouji's a quick worker hehehe i'm glad you're not killing chouji off, that'd suck. dying for the moment when ino's behaviour will be explained in a big, messy confrontation. :-) fantastic temari - no slip ups yet with her character and shikamaru's. she's really "scared" of commitment isn't she? am really glad that he's not falling for her, but would still like to see her with a LITTLE bit of a broken heart. or else, what would she do if she found out he "took someone to dinner"? interesting... eagerly awaiting the next update. :-) |
