| FFAMasquerade2005 chapter 1 . 2/22/2006
sounds really good so far, my questions though is why from the 1950's (was it? i dont' remember)lol i loved this quote
“From the sky!” laughed Gimli.
“You cannot be serious!” said Boromir.
“How exciting!” Pippin cried.
LMAO...i was dying from laughter...keep up the good work and when i have the time i will review again :)
Your fellow reader and author,

*snerkles* "How could that be my fault? I have used that trail for centuries and there have never been orcs there. I take you with me once and orcs show up. I think taking you with me was the problem, mellon."
You know? He may be on to something there.. But, hey, at least it makes for interesting stories. :) I'm not sure the friendship is a deviation from canon, but then, I'm not what one might call an expert on the matter _;; In any case, it's something I've never minded myself, so yay for people who write/mention it :)
| Ashti chapter 1 . 1/19/2006
Hey hey! After reading the first chapter of Brothers at Heart, I thought I'd see what else you had written as I most certainly enjoyed that chapter. So then I found this one :D
Not sure what to think of this yet, as I've only read the first chapter, but the usage of English is good, there's no glaring grammatical mistakes that I can see, and, hee at Pip :)
Now, off to read some more. I'll probably drop a review here or there while I'm going through it _

this was a fantastic story. you did a very good job and hope your keep writing, you totally have the skill to write books, and I hope you do becuse it will most likley be as fantastic as this story(which could totally be a book to if you got permission from the copywrite owner)
Also, thats so cool your a elementary school librarian, I love librarys, i'm in high school and we didnot have a library for 2 months it was horrible, we didnot even know if we would get one this year, the new librarian is very nice and sometimes i just sit with him and talk about the books ive been reading at lunch.

you are wonderfull writer just to let you know. You write with the heart of J.R.R. Token, as if you had witnessed all that you write.

oh Geezus! It took me a little more than a month to read this whole thing! It is very well written and all that but so long! Wow...anyway, I just wanted to say that I loved it so very much. I read in your bio that you are 43 yr. old? I find that hard to believe. You are an incredible writer! I used to want to be a writer when I grew up but lacked the motivation to sit at a desk all day and type. I really hope you write a sequel. I think it should be about one of R and T's children going to earth and finding R's family. That would be so cute! But then again, I've always had a thing for mignon (cute..pardon my french). I can't wait to read the story about Aragorn and Halbarad if you still plan on writing it. You should also let us know if you ever get any original work published. That would be amazing!
I hope you keep writing and I'm glad to meet another book obesser. Unfortunately, I began my first fan fiction a long time ago and it is too late to change the plot so I still feel dedicated to finish it. My next story will be centered mostly around Rohan, home of the horse lords. One thing I did notice in this chapter was the stirrup cup. Did they have that in Middle Earth? I thought it was just something they did before a race...Ah well, I would like to tell you however that this story has my complete support and had encouraged me to write and read better fiction. I have also planned on reviewing my Tolkien before I start my new story because I want to write book canon. Well, this has gone way too long. Just one more note about Rebecca. I am not at all like Rebecca. There is this whole thing about the sharing of feelings. I have never met anyone around that age that likes to share feelings. But, I do like how you pictured her in the beginning chapters. I do believe that you intended her to grow more accoustomed to it. I am beginning to see a thing with you and people talking about their problems. lol...
Time for me to sign off. Just count this as an extra long review for all of the chapters. I hope to read your writing again soon!

I love your story! However, I did want to point out that Aragorn WOULD now about last names, because the men (humans) in Bree had them, presumably they picked it up from the hobbits.

This has been a truly wonderful story and I'm so glad I decided to read it,considering I don't usually read this genre, but this was a gem, which I've recommened to friends.
I loved your portrayal of Aragorn, who is my favourite character, also Arwen and your OC's.
I think my favourite part was ARagorn's kindness to his wards, after Helm's Deep and his understanding of Rebecca's plight.
My only slight criticism, is that I would have liked more but shorter chapters,as it is hard to find sufficient time to read such long chapters and they are too good to just read half at once !
I eagerly await your next stories.
Thank you for a great read.

Oh no! Is it really over? *sigh* I absolutly LOVED it! Definatly favorite story material. *Grins* I cannot express it enough, it was amazing. It was very well researched and well written. I'm glad to have come across it and read it.
| Natalia101 chapter 35 . 12/18/2005
So... Is it over? I mean with this story? Sad! Yet, Sweet! You did such an awesome job on this story! It was the best story I have ever read! I loved it! I hope you do continue on with an epilouge or something more than just ending it right here and steming off with it! Great job! You did the best! Luv ya! I'll see you soon!
| Kat L chapter 35 . 12/18/2005
Alas, the story ends. As much as I wanted it to go on forever, I know that isn't possible. I thought that Aragorn's vision was a perfect ending to the story. I'm actually happy that you have decided to not write a sequel...sequels tend to ruin the magic of the first story. I hope your upcoming works are as good as this, and I'll be looking forward to them.
| JenCarpeDiem chapter 35 . 12/18/2005
Wow. What can I say? I loved it. It was a brilliant way to end the story. Your characterisations were perfect. My favourite part of this chapter was definitely the Arwen/Rebecca interaction, and I would've liked to see more in a later chapter, but I feel that the ending was perfect just the way it is. I do hope you change your mind about not having any direct sequels, but I will enjoy reading any other works featuring Aragorn anyway. :)
| Amy chapter 35 . 12/18/2005
What a great ride it's been for us readers! It's so nice to hear the characters quietly laughing and moving into a more peaceful 4th Age.
I'm looking forward to reading your planned Aragorn and Rebecca/Thomas stories. I hope that you enjoy a good break and holiday season before getting too deeply into writing those.
I do think it would be a bit weird for Aragorn/Arwen and Rebecca/Thomas to be raising kids together, but you've set up Arwen as a friend as much as mother figure, and I'm sure that they'd work it out. Prob. weirder for outsiders than for themselves. Well, until Rebecca and Thomas get old (Tolkien's handling of elvish and Dunedain aging is such a challenge in many ways!)
Many, many thanks!
| AliciaF chapter 35 . 12/18/2005
Oh, it's over. :( All good things must come to an end though...This is without doubt the best fanfic that I've ever read and I've certainly enjoyed it. I love Rebecca and Thomas, two wonderful characters and of course, all of the others. Thank you so much for writing this for all of us readers. It's been awesome.
| IwishSan chapter 35 . 12/17/2005
I will be looking forward to your new stories. I had enjoy this one very much.
Random note: Took me 4hours to read it. Well ... it was because I sorta left it along for 3.75 hours to go watch a movie (The Chronicle of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). ;
