| xAkix chapter 1 . 7/25/2012 This fic was beautiful. I really loved how you were able to keep both Kagome and Sesshoumaru in character so perfectly. And the way you wrote the dialogue, the emotions-I could feel ALL of them. Kagome's pain was so deep, so heart-wrenching, my god. I cried. When she hurt, I did too. I cried with her, mourned with her, and found hope again at the end. I was with Sesshoumaru as he struggled with these new, strange feelings he couldn't yet accept or understand as well as his own past hatred. He had a very long journey there-getting over his old prejudices, understanding and realizing the depth of his feelings, and learning patience. He waited five centuries to see Kagome again. I'm just so glad that they both found each other once more. I didn't want to see them have to suffer alone any longer, not when they'd both had to endure so much pain. The ending was perfect. Finally, after so much despair, there was light. And with it, the promise of a brighter future, one not of loneliness and pain, but of hope-hope for a second chance at happiness. All in all, this story was wonderful. Masterfully written. I'm glad I read it, even more so that I discovered the link to it within your dA gallery. It's truly amazing what the Greek tragedies can inspire. |
