Deeble chapter 1 . 9/13/2004 Beautiful entrance onto the good ship HG/SS. This works well as a one-shot, but of course it has potential as a longer story as well. |
Asty chapter 1 . 9/13/2004 Excellent story, I'm so glad to have you with us at WIKTT! Since it seems you have a plot in mind for this I definitely encourage you to keep on running with it. You're a great writer and I was very happy to see how in character everyone was, odd to see in this fandom, especially when you bring in an OC and tell it from their point of view. There's so many questions you've left unanswered that I feel it'd be quite cruel of you to just leave it hanging there (as I'm sure many WIKTTeers will attest) so please, please give it a go and continue the story. We'll be waiting for an update! |
elle chapter 1 . 9/13/2004 Beautifully written! You writing style supurb. Do tell me that you will wake her up? Tragic beginning equals happy ending? |
HorseriderTheVisionary chapter 1 . 9/13/2004 Wow...you are off and running in this 'ship, make no mistake! *Loved* it, and hope you continue this into a romantic epic! ~HR |
schmokey chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 Evil, evil, evil. I swear, my computer is melting from all the angst in this chapter. It really threw me for a loop to see this one from Harry's POV. But I have to say, what a great, great, idea! It was wonderful to see something from his POV finally, and get some insight into why he's been acting such a prat. And since he's FINALLY in her mind and can see things for himself, his perspective was wonderful and totally not expected. Is it crazy to admit I was actually tearing up in several places in this chapter? When Snape was talking to Harry and being all noble...teared up there... The whole bit between Snape and Albus had me sobbing...and then you threw in that bit with Snape saying to Nettie: ‘Don’t look so nervous, Nettie. I can assure you, the thought of you reading those stuffy Victorian romances to me in perpetuity holds no allure. I will return.’ That made me laugh out loud - it's so Severus - and then back to Albus, and Snape finally took a candy from him and WAH! My husband is convinced I need some type of hormone therapy to control my emotions, and when I tell him I'm reading a really sad story he just rolls his eyes. Lastly, when Snape cuts the link between himself and Hermione and is yelling for Harry to get her out, and she's yelling at Harry she doesn't want to go? I was, literally, sobbing. I think I've gone through almost an entire little packet of Kleenex. Please say you're going to free them, please, please, please...I so want a happy ending for these two, but I'm more convinced than ever now I'm not going to get one... Please! Oh, and tell your Beta Rissa that I will send her a million chocolate loonies (well, not really, maybe three or four) if she will finish betaing the next chapter tonight so you can post it...please, Rissa, PLEASE...I'm begging you. I can't promise to name my first born after you or anything, but I will name my next fish in your honour if you get the next chapter to Michmak soon...PLEASE... |
schmokey chapter 17 . 11/27/2004 Finally - my computer is working again! I had a terrible meltdown and it's been in the shop for ages. I was so excited to pick it up this evening and hook everything back up - I was hoping there would be more of your story here, and there is! I'm so happy! This chapter was great, as always. The thought of Snape swimming nude gave me a wonderful mental picture that will last the rest of my life. I loved the potion, loved the song at the end (you have to be Canadian, because that's two? songs now you've used by Canadians - Leonard Cohen and now Blue Rodeo) and the gray chains were suitably spooky. This entire story has been so, so, so, so, good. I don't want it to end! Perhaps, just for me, you could continue indefinately? LOL. No? Okay, I suppose I understand. I'm so giddy, being able to read your stories again! I can't wait to go to chapter 18 and read it...just drawing out the anticipation...this is superb...and I'm off to 18... |
Kail Ceannai chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 Fabulous as always! This last cliff-hanger was a mite frustrating, however - especially knowing that we still need the Snape and Hermoine points of view! |
Choco chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 ARRGH! What a frustrating chapter! Sadly, it seems I've been hoodwinked into reading up to chapter 18 in this fascinating story! I think it's because the plot is so original and leaves me wanting to discover more. No, it's not error-free, but the OC is believable, as is the Snape/Hermione relationship (actually, seeing how I'm not a Snape/Hermione shipper, I really wouldn't know...). It took them nearly two years to kiss - now, THAT'S romance! Of course, being the angst-whore that I am, I'm hoping for an unhappy ending, but I'm sure I'll be satisfied with whatever resolution you decide on. :) Good work...and man, you rock! |
kiss-of-cuteness chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 Cliffhanger... really nice chapter though. I actually liked Harry in this chapter. The whole in the mind idea with the curse was awesome. Can't wait for more |
hikaru chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 oh no! wat's gonna happen? UPDATE SOON, I MUST FIND OUT! |
JT14 chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 Gah! I just read this entire story in a 2 hour period... and whoa. Amazing. Your writing is great and I love the storyline. Very original. Great concept. Its so believable.. descriptions are great. Characterization great. I'm no english major or anything, but to me this is absolutely perfect. One of the few stories that are. The description of the curse.. how it has a mind of its own... very creepy, but very good. I could really see everything you described in this last chapter, and I found myself a little teary eyed at points throughout this entire thing. And I've said it before in reviews for other stories.. but it really is hard to make me that way. It wasn't mushy.. it was just the style of the story. I'm thoroughly enjoying this and I hope for more soon. -JT- |
Casiana Joy chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 _ I can't say anything, I'm too overcome with emotion. Here, I can make out incomplete sentences: Evil cliffy; Snape's so noble; Like Harry's point of view; Love chappy; want more! |
otherside2 chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 good for harry, but what an evil cliffie. but can i say i don't mind how it ends, it was already such a fantastic love story? |
clare127 chapter 18 . 11/27/2004 Ah! No you can't leave it there! You just can't, what happens to Hermione and Snape please tell me they get out ok. Please update! |
