Nice. I've seen a few stories that referenced "Abyss" in various ways, but this is the best. I think your characterization is terrific, and I really like the ending.

I've read several "after Abyss" stories now. They've all been good. There was just no closure to that episode on the series. They totally ignored what had to have been a long emotional recovery. These stories have filled that gap.
