Beautiful story

This was a truly amazing, emotional story. I loved every word - you really are a gifted storyteller!

So SG-5 just wander in and eat and drink the food they're given? NOT. . With the SGC not knowing how the memories of SG-1 were taken, no way would any Earth personnel be eating offered food and beverages.

And SG-5 says the place is uninhabited and no sign of life? And that SG-1 is lying? What about the UAV that spotted the town that was mentioned earlier? Was that lying too?

Why was O'Neill trying to punch his way through the two big guys when he was in the state he's in? He'd be trained in the use of Judo/Akido (it's called "Jap Slapping" in SF circles) where you use your opponents bulk/mass and their own momentum against them. He called also have dealt blows to vital area which would disable anyone. Sure, tired, dehydrated and hungry, but these skills are not something you think about. You train so often that muscle memory takes over. He should have at least disabled one of the bad guys.

What I don't understand is the small number of reviews. This is a good solid story with great charactor development. I do not watch much TV so I can't comment on the accuracy of the SG charactors.

I can't believe this story doesn't have tons of reviews, this is one of the best sg1 stories I've read. You wrote the characters so well, even when going into their thoughts and feelings. There were several times in the story where I cried because I felt so bad for Jack. You have a true gift, thanks for sharing your talent. I look forward to reading more of your stories!

Best Story Ever.

I can't believe there aren't more reviews than there is! This story it absolutely wonderful. The writing is incredible and you got the characters of Stargate down exactly. Ever think of writing for the show? Wouldn't be such a bad idea. :-)

Yay! The payoff was worth the length of the story. You weaved an elegent and complex story, which fit into the series very well. I am extremely happy I had the opportunity to come across a story like this. It's not often a gal can find a story that is Gen, but has Jack and Daniel friendship, along with strong Sam and Teal'c. Everyone was in character, right down to Jake. Even villains, plot, and the original characters themselves were intriguing. It fit perfectly. Thank you very much for sharing. Hey, absolutely loved this story. Read the first few lines and was absolutely hooked. I reckon ur an Irish girl since u know about Meath, (but really it's a bit of a bogger place u know, lol). Anyways, excellent story, keep writing, uve obviously got the gift for it.

Wow. This is the best story I have read all year. I started crying in parts of this and I never cry in fanfic. You did a really good job of showing us what was happening, and not just telling us. Keep up the good work, please!
