May I continue this story? I wanted to ask your permission before I went and continued it. Of course I would give you credit in the first 14 chapters. :) I've needed to touch up on my Yugeijutsu.

God, it's been ages since I last read this. I'm pretty sure you don't even check your account anymore, last dates around here and all. Let's just say that there are few fanfics of any kind that make me come back years later and reminiscence. Your TMNT stories touched me, and are close to my heart still.

First of all - English is not my native language, so... if you find grammar or spelling mistakes, you may keep them. I don't need them, there are enough of them around here.

Seeing the date of this, I guess it's a little late to comment on it, but I'll try to let you know what I think of your story, anyway. Ahem.

It's great to see that someone was able to take the nineteen-eightieths series, recognize the really awful parts of it, and dare to just leave them out and fill the gaps with parts of better turtle shows/comics - or own ideas that fit in _logically_. (That is what you did, didn't you? Otherwise I really have to go down to the basement and fetch those tapes an comic books again. Oh well, I was about to do that anyway.)

Instead of just taking the guys and putting them in some unlikely setting, or let them react to such a situation in an even more unlikely way, you manage to make them come alive. You pulled them out of their comic book environment and into a world more similar to ours somehow, keeping them true to themselves anyway, making their step out of the sewer and into the outside world believable.

In particular, I'm quite fond of the way you portrayed Raphael, let him keep his cynic self without letting him become angsty (*shudder*). I've read too much of that by now, and it just didn't suit him, just wasn't him. You've reminded of why I always liked him best. It's been a while since fanfiction succeeded in doing so.

Good Ninja Turtles fiction is hard to come by. What you wrote... It's different, close to AU - which usually scares me away -, but it still definitely _is_ TMNT. That's what I love about it.

wonder if Raph's gonna keep a lid on it till they get back home, and whatever happned to the lair? is it bare-empty now, or just kept liek a safty-zone in case of emergancies, or something?

As usual, another superb chapter. From Leo's panic attack (completely in character) to the instances of high school bigotry from both teachers and students, this is beautifully handled. Impatiently waiting for the next chapter. J.

I really love this story. It's amazing. GO STEELERS! I'm real happy Mikey was wearing a Pittsburgh sweatshirt... that was great! :D However, you'd think that being New Yorkers, they'd root for Giants or Jets, but nevertheless, GO STEELERS! (Ok, I know the season's over and everything, but I'm a loyal fan all year ;D )Ok, back to reviewing. Great story. Keep up the good work. I like your take on things and how they would live topside interacting with society. Really interesting. I would have expected them to be extremely wary to move up, though, because of people wanting to dissect them or something, but oh well. Great story!
