I wasn't wrong in thinking that at first the EdWin interactions were more platonic hehe As a EdWin fan born from Brotherhood I confess that I would like to see more of them as a couple but the simple fact that you left them together as a couple after all the hardships made happy like you have no idea.

Also a great applause to you and your way of changing the course of this story. Your adaptability was so great that I thought that the final was practically the same that you had thought years ago (in certain way it is but the new elements that you added definitively gave the story a super plus)

Honestly when I read that there will be an epilogue I was expecting some more about the Elrics but I understand that they're going to live their lives happily in their own way so having these personages again felt so good.

I hadn't thought that the deliver from Brigitte will take some years. Poor Hermann and Tilly, it surely was hard to believe Ed and Winry dead so this letter will seem as a miracle and a great hapiness to them.

Your previsions left me surprised. Congratulations to having these moment from 18 years ago finally come to life hehe

Thanks again for this wonderful story and now for this epilogue, giving us a last peek of Hermann and Tilly when we thought that they would no longer make an apparition here.

OMG I'm crying... I can't believe that this is over. I'm going to miss this fic like you have no idea (it was the story that always put a smile in my face each month when I saw a new update) but you really gave us a fantastic and satisfying ending, not only to this story but also to all the FMA03 Universe. Wow... really wow! I don't have enough words to express the excellent job that you have made with this masterpiece.

This last chapter was the perfect fit and ending to all the personages, plot and universe that you developed here. I loved so much the parallelism between the beginning of this chapter and the first one. Having Izumi and Al traveling in train but now with Ed back with them is just perfect.

And hahaha as always the humor that you included is great! Pinako's welcoming was iconic haha

All the moments that you included here were just the last parts that Ed needed to finally let go of his past to focus himself in the future and the things he wants to do know because finally the Elric brothers are again in the same world. I'm so happy for them :')

And what can I tell you about the EdWin moments? I loved each part of them! They reflected perfectly all the things that they went through together in the last moments and having them end as a couple feels completely organic. I'm so happy that you have granted my EdWin wish of having them together as a couple 3

For me this is my favorite FMA03 Fanfic and definitively the official ending for FMA03. CoS is a guilty pleasure but your story is thousands of times better. You gave us all the good things and perfect closure to the rhythm and background that gave us in the first 51 episodes. Oh god, how I would like to know someone of studio Bones or directly Hiromu Arakawa to make this an anime. That's the only thing that is lacking here because your illustrations are also awesome.

Anyway... I think that I must give me some time to read all this story again now that is finished because even now I need more words of this xD

The end! I have to say: congratulations ;) The amount of work you put into this is amazing, especially all the real-world references. You're right that one movie was never going to do the anime's ending justice, and I'm glad you took it upon yourself to write it properly (: Also, how can you be worried about this fic's length? The longer the better! Or maybe I'm just obsessed, haha.
Btw. I think this is the only FMA fic I've ever read where Ed regains both of his limbs- I was REALLY surprised by that turn of events, simply because it was such a novelty for me, lol. It was certainly well justified, though! I'm glad Ed and Al both get their happy ending, though I do find it quite funny- Al being in much younger body, and Ed in much older.
Also, Ed and Winry- so cute. I definitely wish them well ;)

I found this fic only recently and you have no idea how happy I am that I'm probably going to see an ending soon ;) I actually thought you've been updating it slowly since 2004, but now I see this is not the case, haha.
I have to say, you ignited some kind of appreciation in me for FMA03. I didn't dislike it, per se... I just really, really hated the ending and the fact that Ed never came home. Now I'm just going to forget CoS exists and accept your fic as my new canon :D
Anyway, you put a lot of work and thought into this, and I'm quite impressed with the result. The story is engaging, Ed and co seem quite in-character and the OCs are interesting as well. I'm a bit sad Ed didn't get to say goodbye to Hermann and Tilly, but maybe we'll see their reaction to the letter?
And damn, I want the military to give Ed his money back so he can buy that watch. He deserves it :(
Also, you made me ship EdWin so hard... they ARE going to end up together, right? RIGHT? Haha.

Oh god I'm gonna miss Brigitte so much! I know that she had to return to her world but I couldn't help liking the ship between her and Al. I like them as friends but I don't know, I think they would make a great couple.

Man, am I an idiot, or what? All the years of reading (and re-reading) this fan fiction, but I never associated the character of Brigitte with the famous silent film actress.
I also can see Izumi cracking her knuckles with relish, that would so awesome animated.

After all the tension, finally Ed and Al had some time to themselves as brothers. It was sooooo sweet to read that Al wanted to see Ed shave. I loved that part.

It was also great to follow them shopping and the end of this chapter was perfect. Ed watching his brother sleep was one of his biggest dreams since he was 11 and now that he can actually see and enjoy it was just perfect. I love these brothers so much!

Maybe Ed couldn't afford a new watch but the gesture he had with Winry was adorable. Winry really was an anchor for him when Dante sent her to the other side and now they know each other in a deeper way making their connection stronger. As friends and a potential romantic couple (I really hope so) I enjoy their moments in this chapter so much.

You've done an amazing job with your original characters, I love them so much! I didn't realize how much I missed seeing Brigitte and Ed interacting until this chapter and the moments together were so great (My heart melted when Brigitte asked Ed if he could take her home, poor thing, she's spent so much time away from home and without a way to communicate properly like she really wants to).

The moments with Ed and Briggite also made me miss Herman and Tilly. I am more than happy that Ed is back in Amestris but it is a shame not to hear more from them. They were great friends of Ed, Winry and Hohenheim.

Speaking of Ed... OMG... since I read that he and Winry were back in Amestris I was so happy that I didn't think much of the equivalent exchange. Then I wanted to believe that his alchemy was more than enough as payment but no... He can stay in Amestris but being some sort of corporeal ghost is sad. Your explanation as to why is really brilliant and goes along with your whole story but it still makes me sad but oh well... Ed is home with Al, Winry and all his friends and that's the important thing because he had to go through so many years to make it. He deserves happiness. Yes he made mistakes and he will need some time to make amends with Izumi and Roy because he really hurt them but he is finally home without Dante around.

Well meanwhile Ed has his punishment for his recent actions by not having the means to shave his beard xD

Hurrah for Brigitte finally being able to communicate. Even though I had to resort to an online German to English translator because my German consists of just a few words, and the phrase "Ausgezeichnet! Und wie gehts, dehr?" (Oh, I probably just mangled that). Ed's explanation of just how he got home and how he's now a "corporeal ghost" is kind of depressing, considering how hard he strived to return home. So the day he dies, he will just - disappear? How sad.

Wow and simply Wow! This is, without a doubt, the best Post-03 Fanfic I've ever read.
CoS is a guilty pleasure for me, but I would definitely love your story to be animated and considered the true ending of the 03 anime.
The characterization, the original and historical characters are so good. One can see the effort and dedication you've put in here. Thank you so much for giving us this magnificent work 3.
When I started reading this story I didn't have access to my account so I eventually forgot to review each chapter. I'm so sorry :( but without a doubt, this has been a fantastic journey, so much so that I didn't feel the 600k words. Even so, I need more xD I know the end is near and although I will miss this fic I know the ending will be amazing.
My EdWin heart has seen the Ed-Winry interactions as clues that they'll end up together in the end so I really hope that's the case. Please!
