Okay, Sasuke is SERIOUSLY messed up in the head. Now, I know he knows what love and like and all that feels like because, unlike Naruto, he did have a loving family for 8 yearsof his life. Sure, okay, they were brutally murdered and the murderer did royally screw with his head afterwards, but still...

I'l be honest. I LIKE your protrayals of the boys. . Sure, they're messed up, but, as Naruto pointed out, neither of them is exactly sane. With all the weird rivalry and dark emotions and competitiveness running between them, I suppose it makes sense that everything else would be just as violent and screwed up. *L*

Good work on your characterizations of everyone else, as well. Kakashi comes off with just the right level of completely bored and sharply intelligent. I like Jiraiya's apathetic attitude about the whole thing and Tsunade's over-protectiveness is perfect.
