That was the perfect ending to this not-buddies, almost-rivals, mostly-just-nakama story.

Of course there is a plot. The plot is to see if Zoro and Sanji can annoy their captors enough to let them go before they annoy each other to death.

I don't know why I never read this before. I love your stuff and even though I started watching One Piece for Zoro, I've become a fan of Sanji as well. I'm glad I finally decided to read this. It's already fun.

Also: Knowing that they're other slightly sadistic, slightly wicked people out there is always reassuring. ;)

Reading the summary, I thought it would be a modern day fic XD But reading the fic I kind of get what the summary meant.
Loved how they kept fighting throughout, and also the small serious moments like the last part from Zoro. Hope to see more One Piece fics from you in the future!

You really have a great talent in telling stories, mixing fun and drama, and your characterizations of Sanji and Zoro were perfect! Also liked the seven deaths and tiger hunt, hope you get around writing more One Piece.

I've probably commented on this fic before but, hell, I'll do it again. I really really love this one. This and Seven Deaths, are my two favorite Zoro/Sanji fics of all time. Not even necessarily shippy although they are very easy to ship here.

Specifically what I love about Bound and Determined is their characterization. The way they play off each other and show concern for each other and are annoyed at each other all through an excessive amount of bitching at each other and fighting. Which is how any Zoro/Sanji story should be. I love their bravado and their struggle. For some reason they look really good while bleeding and it's always nice to see them fight their way through the situation. The plot/misunderstanding was set up and executed well and I really loved to hate the antagonist... But I think one of my favorite parts is just the little hint of Seven Deaths in there. That layover from a past trauma that still infect Sanji. It's really well crafted and excellent.

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know. I rec this fic (and Seven Deaths) to all the OP newbies and it's a standard in my "What is One Piece fanfiction" canon because it's so very good. Thank you for writing it and the other (and Tiger Hunt is pretty brilliant as well)
