![]() ![]() ![]() wow, finally Rook and Rand tied the knot. They are so a perfect match for the other. They match each other blow to blow and complement each other too. Their vast backgrounds make them a match made in heaven. I wonder, when it was love for them at the beginning? Rand is totally devoted to Rook, hed follow her anywhere same with Rook. Rook trusts him completely, although it did take her a long time to accept those feelings were real and sincere and Rand was a keeper. I love everyone together. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is awesome. I love Robotech:New Generation, I love this continuation of what happened to everyone. Wow, Marlene(Ariel expecting. I'm surprised everyone is moreso married except Rand and Rook. I love Sera and Lancer. I like all the angst and conflict, developing in the story. I hope there's some battle in it too. |
![]() ![]() Great job! Love the ending! :) |
![]() ![]() Well Done! Bravo! The epilogue seemed a bit short, but I suppose you will be writing a sequel. Oh well |
![]() ![]() Was just wandering through Robotech fanfiction and this caught my eye. Great story :) I particularly like fanfics concerning the New Gen characters. A bit sad in the series their general futures were unresolved. (Even the novels don't tell you much, except for Scott & Marlene... sort of) I checked out the fan art too. My fave pic is definitely the one of Marlene, Scott and baby Caden. Keep it up, :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() I LOVE THIS CHAPTER! Sad to see this story ending. |
![]() ![]() Okay, at the end of the story. . . at least until gppr wants to write another sequel or something. . . Caden still has to be raised, after all, and Baraka got away with a sample of whatever it was. . . As I predicted the protector's existance was explained via Dr Lang's exopsition, which works, of course, though I'm not entirly sure that his explaination was correct- to fair, Lang himself was mostly making an educated guess. Meanwhile, Rick and Lisa get it on! Hmm, how old are they by now, anyway? early 50's or so? The last scene was kinda creepy, even if Caden destroyed the mobile without meaning to. Well, I guess he meant to 'make the scary thing go away', but was not intending to cause destruction. Babies with death-ray eyes are creepy. At least Dana Sterling never had death-ray eyes as a baby. (Dana looks aggrieved and puts her hands on her hips. "How do you know I COULDN'T shoot lasers out of my eyes as a baby!" "Well, i'm assuming that Human-Zentraedi hybrids are different than Human-Invid hybrids, but really, Dana, you don't need to have death-ray eyes anyway. You're a woman, and as such, you get 'Angry Woman Gaze', a way to glare at guys that is far more effective than any laser beam.") |
![]() ![]() ![]() GREAT CHAPTER! |
![]() ![]() I sense we are headed towards the conclusion after this chapter. The Protector (which we still need an explanation for) opted to absorb the energy being directed at it and go Kalbooey, even though that would probably kill the ones trying to harm it, which Marlene partially objected to, or was it the risk that it might destroy itself in the process? The invid girls crash the party, and then everyone except Baraka and his hired knife (and of course Marlene and Sera) get blown away. Scott finds his son still lives, covered in an odd afterbirth, a bit like Marlene was upon hatching? Baraka comes out of hiding and also finds the stuff. Of course, that the baby could defend itself so successfully there does prove that they were right about it being dangerous- though I doubt it's enemies will bother to point out that it wouldn't have been dangerous if it hadn't been under a lethal assult in the first place. It was only acting in self-defense, but those blinded by hate won't care. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I know I already told you online how much I enjoyed it, but I wanted to review so I could say it again: Awesome chapter! D |
![]() ![]() GREAT UPDATE. |
![]() ![]() ![]() o: Intense chapter! I can't wait till the next one to see what happens! D ;D |
![]() ![]() *bites aragonvaar's nails* I'd bite my own, but my hands are dirty right now. I'm not guessing that the protector entity is the shell itself somehow? Huh, still awaiting the final answers, which will likely be provided by Dr Lang in an expostion scene at the end. So Marlene and Sera are going to turn into energy and just teleport straight to the baby's location? I hope that their energy forms also allow them to defend themselves from being attacked by the Karbarrans. |
![]() ![]() Good job. *bites nails.* |
![]() ![]() ![]() GREAT CHAPTER! Poor child, to start life like that. |
