Teal’c! So amazing! What a trump move

I have read this several times and it never gets old. I was surprised to see I never commented. This story is almost 18 years old and seems to have been written during the airing of season eight just after Affinity. Awful episode. Poor Jack, his pain pulls on my heart strings. This story is beautiful and a natural progression of their relationship. In some ways, this story could have been longer, but it’s perfect the way it is. I will say that they couldn’t have gotten in any trouble because of the overwhelming evidence proving their circumstances, but it doesn’t deter me from this being one of my all time favorites. I enjoy pretty much all your stories.

Part of me wonders if Sam got the time calculation completely off because the Daniel and Teal'c bits are dealing with the direct aftermath, and it's confusing me a little.

i first read this story years ago. like, possibly at least 10 years ago. and ive recently been re-binging sg1 again, and thus, have began re-fanfic'ing sg1 as well. and came upon this story once more. and thoroughly enjoyed it just as much as i did as when i first read it. :) thanks for sharing it with us

This was great to read, the whole story, really. But what got me the most is the epilogue. I like the distance, you put there, the view from the outside. It is like zooming out the scene. It‘s like putting a bow around it, making everything just pretty. Very well done!

I wanted to say thank you for writing this great story. I'm French and I read the french translation of Aybarra which is superb! It's just wonderful! Magic! Unexpected! Surprising! I'm madly in love with your story that I read 4 times! I loved watching Jack rejuvenate by 15, restoring his 35-year-old body. It’s as if you are giving her more time with the beautiful Samantha who is lucky to be able to enjoy it. They both deserve it. The Ornorean made it possible for Jack and Sam to be happy and live all these lost years, it is a second chance, moreover they are newlyweds who have a long and prosperous life ahead of them with a beautiful family. I would have liked another chapter to close the story, to know how Hannah adapts on Earth, if the second child is a girl or a boy, I am sure it is a boy as strong as his father. I would have liked to see Jacob’s reaction when he saw Sam pregnant to the neck and her husband.
A big thank you for this story which gave me palpitations, thrills of pleasure for the happiness of Sam and Jack. I have read several translations of your stories by Aybarra which are superb! I really love Stargate SG1, I hope you write more stories about Sam and Jack

I may have reviewed this previously...but if so, I'll say it again. I've been coming back to this fic every few years for ages now to reread it because despite having read thousands of SG1 fanfic, this remains one of my very most favorite. I only wish it were longer! :)
