This is one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read. I seriously could not put it down. 20 years later and it is just as good. Thank you for this masterpiece and for doing Spuffy justice.

Almost twenty years since this story was published, and I don't know how many times I've come back to read it. What an impressive Spuffy fic that spends so many chapters with them apart. I love how you truly get Spike, understaning the goodness that exists in him without a spul and the character flaws that exist in Angel with one, the way you call our Willow's worst traits, AND acknowledge the unfairness of the acceptance of Xander & Anya's relationship.

You probably don’t even read reviews for this anymore but holy shit this is the best Buffy fic I’ve ever read and I just had to say that. I thought 68 chapters was a lot but they went by in a blink.

There are no words to describe my feelings after this long-long way they through together.
Is it being enough to say AWESOME!?
I never thought that they relationship could be even more complicated, but also stronger, than in the original.
I can literally say that it’s my favorite work on Spuffy verse so far! And I'm so glad I find it!

I usually don’t review, but god I could not after reading 47 episodes! This is such a GREAT story! I usually am not a Dawn fan but you made her SO LIKABLE in this story that I think she is my favorite apart from Spike and Buffy. You made Willow really unlikeable though, which is a shame since I usually love her character (yeah her actions in season 6 was not so great), and what’s with her keep calling Angel whenever she feels stuck? It’s getting annoying to me. But this story…. I can see myself re-reading it over and over again! I can’t believe I didn’t start reading this until now!
