|Reviews for The Beautiful Game|
| purple-papoose chapter 17 . 1/29
I'm never going to settle for the name Lily again now that I have Lilo.
And I realize this review is amazingly late. I do hope you see it.
| jayrambles chapter 17 . 1/20
I wish I could give you a review as flawless as this fic but that, I'm afraid, is quite impossible. Therefore I shall only say that this fic is one of the best Jily ones I've ever read - and believe me, I'm irritatingly picky - and gave me all sorts of lovely feels. Please write more Jily!
| jayrambles chapter 8 . 1/18
"... as much as I wouldn't never kiss you ..." I don't know whether this was intentional or merely a typo, but this technically means Lily WOULD kiss James :P Ooh, Lily ...
| NoMoreUsernames chapter 17 . 12/12/2013
I know I'm a little late in reading this story, but I wanted to say it was absolutely amazing and that you are a great writer. I hope there is more to read.
| Guest chapter 17 . 11/26/2013
That was such an adorable fanfiction I think I will just curl up into a ball and smile for the next four hours. Honestly, not only did you mix drama, cuteness, humor, and action in there, it was truly spectacular writing. I kinda want to go write you a one shot now... But I'm new so I don't know how that works or if I'm even allowed to. So I will just thank you so much for writing this, because it totally made my last few days.
| Gryffindor4ever chapter 1 . 11/2/2013
*in mock astonishment* SIRIUS! HOW DARE YOU THROW A GOBSTOPPER AT A GIRL?!
Man, the gobstopper test... I won't forget that one for years.
| Wafflez chapter 2 . 11/2/2013
Aww... wittle ickle Ritie kins Jealous?
You can bet on that one.
The wafflez conquer all,

Don't listen to Rita, lils. She's jusy jeal
| Gryffindor4ever chapter 2 . 11/2/2013
RITA SKEETER IS NOTHING MORE THAN A COBRA IN HIGH HEELS AND GOLD EARRINGS! DONT LISTEN TO THAT POISON, LILY! (No offense Rita fans, but I hate her almost as much as I hate Draco, which is really saying something.) Keep going, this looks like it will be zooming along a different path then I expected. Good job so far.
| opidiod chapter 17 . 8/18/2013
Ah, the inevitable problem of having jumped of an airborne broomstick- that falling part. Poor James xD
I love The Robbing Of The Patients. And, of course, the kiss :D
Just out of curiosity, would Lilo be pronounced Li-lo or Lil-oh? Inquiring minds want to know.
| opidiod chapter 16 . 8/18/2013
I do love the Quidditch commentary.
This match is completely and utterly implausible, but enjoyable none the less. After all, it is fiction.
| opidiod chapter 15 . 8/18/2013
Ah, typical teenage male, falling asleep during a profession of love.
A couple questions- First, I thought Lily had been rather clued in to what was going on between Remus and Verity? And second, since they only have one invisibility cloak, how did both Lily and Verity and the Marauders get to their destination food sources without being attacked?
Anyway, another excellent chapter.
| opidiod chapter 14 . 8/18/2013
I love Verity. I just love her. "You didn't expect me to go on my own, did you?" "No, of course not! What kind of friend do you take me for!" Us girls really can't use the bathroom on our own, can we? The truth and hilarity of that scene cracked me up.
And then her speech about the duties of a best friend (which, by the way, I think was pretty much spot on. What on earth would we do without best friends?). And the "Oh yes, you sodding well shall". I don't know why I find that line so funny, but I do.
| opidiod chapter 13 . 8/18/2013
Ahhh, I really am found of this chapter. Let us see why.
1. Your writing. It is brilliant.
2. The way you just put little things in like 'Green and yellow should never be forced on anyone' and Sirius' reaction to pictures of the popular being valuable (and Lily's subsequent reaction)
3. Sirius. Standing outside half naked talking in a loud and falsely cheerful manner. Such obvious bait you wouldn't think anyone would fall for it, and yet...
4. Rita. She is such an idiot. Nope, not far-fetched at all that he'd propose without, oh, you know, dating first. And HOW did she not find it suspicious how everyone was giving her these directions? Apparently intelligence and suspicion don't run in the Skeeter family blood.
5. The casual commentary about what each thing does is positively priceless.
| opidiod chapter 12 . 8/18/2013
The picture is like feeding Skelegrow to a jellyfish... Indeed it is. I think I may have to start using that phrase.
Also, Sirius. I was laughing my butt off.
Oh, and the part of the chapter before the newspaper is rather adorable. Trust James to put her on the bed. Speaking of adorable things, he is one.
