Reviews for Living with Danger
Revliledpembroke chapter 36 . 6/9
I just can't take "cliffy" seriously as a word or abbreviation. It just sends me straight to "stiffy," which is an entirely different sort of conversation.

Though I guess a cliffy could maybe lead to a stuffy, depending on how smutty something is
Revliledpembroke chapter 32 . 6/9
Well... Cold freshwater lake... Huron rolls, Superior sings in the rooms with her ice water mansions? Ol' Michigan steams like a young man's dreams, it's islands and bays and bays are for sportsmen! And further below Lake Ontario, Lake Erie takes in what the others can send 'er.
Revliledpembroke chapter 29 . 6/9
See *yinz* then? So... A Steelers or Penguins fan, then?
Revliledpembroke chapter 28 . 6/9
I don't know. I do think Danger is kinda stupid. Dangerfield is *much* better. Especially Rodney Dangerfield. *Nervously adjusts tie*
"I once got a call from a girl telling me 'Come on over! Nobody's home!' So I went on over and nobody was dere! I tell you, I don't get no respect!"
"Everybody knows my doctor, Dr. Vinnie Boom Botz!"
My kids don't respect me! My daughter took the mailman to the Father-Daughter Dance!"
Revliledpembroke chapter 27 . 6/9
Funny... Google tells me it translates as "The Gods are troubled".
Revliledpembroke chapter 21 . 6/9
I'm a little surprised that a version of Narcissa willing to commit suicide after giving up her son wouldn't just murder Lucius.
Revliledpembroke chapter 20 . 6/9
That teacher was right. "What do you think?" is far too broad and open-ended. You might get the next Plato or Socrates waxing philosophically. You might get "Hurr hurr. My farts smell gud."
Revliledpembroke chapter 13 . 6/9
"A/N: OK, so I like being cryptic. That's not a crime, is it?"

It should be. Everyone always seems to hate the cryptic old man
Revliledpembroke chapter 12 . 6/9
Fudge remembers arriving on the scene and seeing Sirius laughing... As a member of Accidents and Catastrophes in Book 3. I suppose it's possible that within six months he became Minister, but I doubt it...
Revliledpembroke chapter 7 . 6/9
It does all seem a mite convenient, though. Remus *just happens* to find Harry in the park because Hermione's elder sister *just happens* to be babysitting Harry. She *just happens* to have had dreams about Remus's situation, *including* one that shows Peter as the guilty party instead of Sirius.

She *just happens* to have been childhood friends with the girl who ended up dating Sirius at Hogwarts and she *just happens* to be a "werewolf tamer," able to entirely reduce Remus's threat rating. She and Remus *just happen* to have a shared dream where they learn everything about the other and it turns their initial attraction into proper love.

I'll take it (because my life has been kinda shit of late - my father and grandmother died about 14 months apart), but it's definitely approaching Mary Sue levels. The universe is bending around Danger Granger instead of her fitting in it.

It's just bending in a way that makes all of the characters in-universe happy rather than just to show off how AWESOME Granger Danger is.
Revliledpembroke chapter 2 . 6/9
Is it not absurdly obviously that the wee babby is Hermione? What are the chances that there's a female with the name Granger who's the same age as Harry (roughly) and it's *not* Hermione?
Revliledpembroke chapter 1 . 6/9
Wow! Amazing! You're telling me the Potters were ratted out, but *not* by the dude who turned into an animal known for loyalty? Instead, they were ratted out by the one who turned into a rat?

Who would've thunk it?

JK really wasn't being subtle there, was she?
Moong chapter 32 . 6/4
The way you connect things are cool and amazing .
MoomGS chapter 2 . 6/2
Neenie's full name is ?
Abstract01 chapter 22 . 3/15
Source of Aletha's patronus? I would guess sci-fi/fantasy's Anna McCaffrey, To Ride Pegasus . . .
