What I find the most funny are the reviews that call you a Homophobe or whatever. Just because someone doesn't like yaoi doesn't make them a Homophobe. They just don't like yaoi. A lot of people are saying "Don't read it." Well the same could be said for you... I mean the title in itself should let you know you wouldn't like it right? So why bash the author who has clearly made it obvious what this fic is about? It's not like you were tricked into reading it or something sinister like that. I myself read a summary BEFORE clicking on it and finding to my surprise there's something in the fic I don't like. Why subject yourself to reading something you KNOW you won't enjoy?

I enjoyed it. I really did. Even though I DO read a little yaoi here and there. Depends on my mood really. I feel you got the reactions of the characters right. My favorite part was when Vincent shot the computer. Although if it was my computer it probably wouldn't be my favorite part. LOL Poor Cid. He wasted his money.

Well, you know, I get so angry if I said, "I don't like yaoi/yuri," and fujoshi and fudanshi, without doubt, accused me as a homophobe. BEING A YAOI/YURI HATER IS NOT THE SAME AS BEING A HOMOPHOBE.

Oh, and one thing. If male or female characters had a normal skinship (hugging, for an example), fujoshi/fudanshi pick it up as a yaoi hint. The same for yuri. God, it's just...huh.

And even if the character haven't interact at all, they paired it.

I'm sorry to say this, but if you don't like yaoi then you shouldn't be on fan fiction. :P Face it, it's way more common than het here.

From my personal experience, I've encountered far more rabid haters that try to force their beliefs on me than fans. Just look at these reviews to see what I'm talking about. Normally the fans will say they respect a hater's opinion while hater will whine that they've been scarred, deem all fans as retards, abuse the caps lock and even try to start wars (lol).

I don't consider myself a fan, but like yaoi if it's well-written. If it's badly written I'll turn away. At any rate I'm not going to give an "I respect your opinion" to every hater out there who acts as agressive and offensive as possible, but isn't homophobic because they "have gay friends". You don't respect any one else's point of view, so fuck yours.

- And the same goes to rabid yaoi fan girls (although I'm yet to meet any that are really bad.)

This was quite a rant and wasn't even aimed at the author (who wrote the story years ago). I just wanted to get this off my chest! Just keep in mind that this is coming from an ex-rabid twi-hater who woke up and realised she was being more retarded and bigotted than the fans.

I laughed at many of the yaoi fans that reviewed this and immediately bashed on the author. I don't mean to place a bias, but this fanfic IS CANON (despite the fact that it broke the fourth wall). If the Square Enix characters read the yaoi fanfiction that had been written in this particular website, I would predict that their reaction would most likely be that as the writer have written. For the yaoi fans who have complained that this a downright insult to their yaoi thinking, you are dearly mistaken. Most Square Enix yaoi couples (SoraxRiku, SephirothxCloud etc) that I have seen in this website are NOT CANON. They are merely based off of the yaoi fangirls imagination; many can rightly agree that whatever "yaoi" scene that have happened in Square Enix's projects, they were most likely accidental.

I thank you for writing this fic and actually having the guts that some of us anti-yaoi writers don't. You probably knew that you'd get hate for this; yaoi fangirls are all over .

I don't flame. I do like yaoi (very much so). I respect that you don't, however, you seriously need to consider that people like it.
