You never cease to amaze me. Who would have thought that such an overlooked piece of jewelry could hold such meaning and value? This is a great little vignette; you've managed to make it short and simple, yet explain so much at the same time. Awesome!

Brilliant! So much meaning behind a simple piece of jewelry, wow. I have my suspicions on who the woman is but I'll keep it to myself. I loved this, thanks!

Again a delightful piece of writing. I like the idea you have behind a simple piece of jewelry - and the connotations behind it. Great work here. I loved the end, particularly the show of affection he made by pressing her hand closer to his skin. It's a rare sign of affection, and not completely unnoticed - I wanted you to know that. I liked it, even the absent smile at the end. It spoke more than any words you could have had him say.

That was an intereting little vignette :) I kept thinking that it was Paine but I suppose it was Leblanc?
