An amazing story, with amazing use of symbolizm.
| Whitetree-Nimloth chapter 1 . 2/8/2010
J'ai adoré cette fic. J'aime particulièrement l'image de Maglor qui chante dans le métro.
| Tia Paes chapter 1 . 5/5/2009
Every now and again I come across a story that moves me in such a profound way that I literally feel my heart hurting with the pain of how beautiful it is. This story made me cry with the beauty.
Thank you. Thank you so much for writing this, I will surely come back and read this many times again and again and I will never ever get tired of it.
| RavenLady chapter 1 . 6/10/2005
This bit intrigued me:
“But I have chosen it. And I do not regret my choice.”
Maglor without regrets - I didn't see that one coming. Interesting.
I love this:
"They all praised me as the greatest minstrel of my people but I never really sung for them. My brothers, my mother, the sons I wished I had. After that, the sea.
And the love of Strangers like myself."
And the line, "you need no other torturer than yourself to turn your soul into that of orcs."
Beautifully written, and so poignant. I ache. As always, you take my breath away.
| Itarille chapter 1 . 11/2/2004
Wow, this is lovely. I really love this:
"I went and hanged myself with one of the ropes that fell from the sky."
If Maglor is still singing, there's no place more perfect than the Parisian underground.
