loved the ending. bravo! the beginning could use a little work, though. start with something that will draw the reader in, make him/her interested. i think you should have dragged his death out a little longer. it builds up more angst, makes things more interesting. great first fic! looking forward to more. and one small piece of advice: don't use transitions! those are for essays, not creative writing. ]

This is your first fan fiction? Wow. I enjoyed it, from the first part to the last. You captured Kenshin's essense perfectly. This was a very well done story, very moving, and hopefully there will be more where this came from.

And you came up with this idea when you simply thought about...stuff. lol.
