I came by this fic through a mention of it in Via Media by DeGlace. I am slightly disappointed, I always liked the portrayal of Tenten as a weapons mistress meaning she actually knew how to wield each weapon in her arsenal and how to use them well, tossing everything willy-nilly and not even keeping a weapon to use...seriously? orz. Unexpected,tnecutting Hershey on thing but I thought Kankuro was nice about it and gave her something to think about, also ninjas are about stealth and cunning so hiding and using what people generally consider underhanded is definitely fair game. I like the mention of Kankuro just liking the forest and wanting to look into the differences between their hospitals.

For some reason I was under the mentality that people can't travel out of their village but then that would be like prison. How about vacation and sightseeing amd stuff? Maybe it was a day off and Tenten went out and they assumed she would come back. Otherwise instant missing him, plus traveling to another village to fight their royalty seems diplomatically unsound. I like Kankuro's characterization, and Tenten's makes sense when we are operating under the assumption she was being ruled by her emotions and her tunnel vision did not do her any service because even if she was training to beat only Temari, why did she not think that Temari might have learned new skills or research the skills of Suna that she might have picked up? It's good that Kankuro's poison wasn't immediately fatal where he could deliver Tenten back and that Lee was the one he came by, probably outside the gates too because trespassing otherwise. These kids...

I know this is a very old fic (nearly 10 years since being completed...!), but it's been one of my favourites for years. You've turned an apparently impossible pairing into something very sweet, in character and plausible, and I love how their relationship develops over time

10 years later I find such a masterpiece. This is wonderful the interactions and all was amazing. This is very well done im happy to have stumbled upon this.

Hi ! I read that fic yestersay and i absolutely loved it ! If somebody had told me one week ago that i would read a kankuro x tenten fanfic I would have beat them senseless for being stupid. But after reading it twice already, I don't think it's that ridiculous anymore. I really enjoyed you're story ! Your writing is so good and I love the way you perfectly pinpoint tenten's and kankuro's (which are not characters i'm in love with) personalities ! And honestly I'm craving for more ! So I know what I'm about to say is stupid and maybe pointless cause I don't think you're still on anymore but I'm doing it anyway : please write another kanku x tenten fanfiction !#!

Crack pairings always turn out to be the best stories, just for the sheer imagination it takes to make it realistic. That's my opinion anyway. I loved this! :) I thought the fight scenes were fun to read, and the touchy scenes were cute. I love Kankuro's smirk and Tenten's fury when she sees it. I thought your characterization for both characters was spot on, and I had a lot of fun reading about Tenten's character development :) Thanks for writing and sharing this with us!
