|Reviews for Unworthy One|
| mfaerie32 chapter 5 . 5/12/2013
She's blaming herself for things that are not her fault. And in doing so, she insults their memory and doesn't allow herself the ability to grieve for them in a healthy and healing way. She doesn't OWE Kikyou anything. That woman gave up all rights to her future when she let Naraku use a weak trick on her, proving that she truly didn't love Inuyasha. Otherwise it would have never worked.
| mfaerie32 chapter 4 . 5/12/2013
I say he slap her. Something to get her out of her pathetic...comatose state. It verges on pitying herself instead of honoring her friends who gave their life to kill Naraku. The soul is hers, not Kikyo's. I understand she's in pain at the moment, but she's also being rather pathetic. The emotionless thing I could fully understand, but the self pitying "I'm a worthless ningen, if my pain pleases you so be it." is rather annoying. Not sure how I'd get her out of it since she doesn't seem to mind being hurt.

I found this story a while ago but never got around to reviewing, so here it is!
Love It! Absolutely Love It!
| chibikimbe chapter 22 . 6/26/2012
I found this fanfic a little over eight years ago, on Single Spark, and have read it too many times to count. I even printed it out (so i could read it at home), much to the annoyance of the school librarian, and have read it so many times the pages have mostly fallen apart. At the time when I discovered Unworthy One, my only internet access was through school computers and I was unable to leave a review. So let me start this long over do review with:
Thank you! When I first found this wonderful story I was suffering a severe depression very much smiler to Kagome's, sans the physical wounds. I'll not bore you with the details of it, I'll just say that what happened to me shouldn't happen to anyone never mind a child. My depression was nearly crippling and my only escape was the few hours a day I could read the online fanfics. Your fic hit a note with me and helped me to move on from my hurt and anger. You may be asking yourself why I'm reviewing now, well that's because now eight years latter I have come full circle. I have found my Life-mate and the joy of being loved. I have also found the strength to forgive those that hurt me. And as I was boxing things up in preparation to move into my new house I refound my much loved copy of your story and reread it again, thus prompting my need to review.
Now on to heaping you with praise for your wonderful writing and story telling skills! This is one of the best and most well written fics I've ever read, and as any true Kagsess shipper I've read many. And though there is a small amount of Ooc-ness, it is in such a way that it improves the story and makes the characters seem more real. To the point that at least to me, I can see a small amount of attraction between Sesshomaru and Kagome when watching the anime (it makes the show and movies so much more entertaining _ ). Your use of emotions that are so relate able and human, both the happy and sad ones, adds a depth you don't see very often. And the way you used Sesshomaru's blood lust, for lack of a better word, to bring the two of them together was and is amazing. As for how the relationship develops in the story and the depiction of the sub-characters (coughInuyashacough) it is superb! And the children are so cute. Taishou is definitely my favorite fallowed closely by the twins!
As a whole it is wonderful, and inspired me to wright fanfiction of my own, not all of it pertaining to the Inuyasha world... And none of it ever seeing the light of internet day. (-_-; )
In closing, I thank you again for putting your inspired and genius writing out there in the world for people to read. And I look forward to any and all other stories you see fit to share with the world!

now, now, now... It cannot be rape if she likes it.
The mating scene is very good. Sess's contemplation and inner thoughts were very well portrayed. I love this chap.
| timunderwood9 chapter 8 . 12/15/2011
Structurally you have Sesshoumaru go through a sharp break from an attempt at 'demon lord' psychology (where he does things like torture girls because he is impatient) to protagonist blob psychology where he is impressed with Kagome holding neat twentieth century Hollywood values.
It isn't a very sensical shift. You started writing him seriously ooc mid way through chapter seven I think. And this honestly makes the story less interesting.
| timunderwood9 chapter 7 . 12/15/2011
The story given really doesn't provide a sufficient causal explanation for why she is in her current state. Specifically Kagome isn't really reacting as a normal human. Weak psychology, there is no ability for me to relate- which would be fine if there was a truly magical causal explanation (ie the jewel being absorbed, or something).
Still the tension within the early story was very good, as is your management of Sesshoumaru, his behavior is very demon like- though here again a bit more effort to have made explicit the difference between his instinctual self, and his conscious self (both vicious and violent, but one desiring Kagome, and the other thinking of her as he thinks of other humans, which includes his willingness to torture and kill for very casual reasons (and a possible level of sadism, I've only watched the series so far through the first sequence he showed up).
Still very good tension scene in the beginning.
The nature of the ongoing sequence is less good though.

Um.. i don't leave comments until the end of the story but i feel like i need to leave one now. Inuyasha and Sango... is kinda gross...

Oh I have missed this story so much!
Can't believe I finally got the chance to read and review this story!
Though I'm not anti-Kikyou, the way you portrayed her through your story was extremely fitting for her. Given the fact you didn't kill her off a second time, it's quite a gift. I sympathized for her at her old age, but... hey, she had the chance to repent for her mistakes and yet she chose to make them worse. She got what she deserved huh?
Fantastically beautiful story, and an even better ending!

| Miko's Youkai chapter 22 . 1/23/2009
That was a fitting end for Kikyo and a fitting end for Sango, Kagome, Inuyasha, and Sesshomaru. Such a lovely story that you have written here! I love it so much.
Until next time,
