Yeah you have no continuity. You said they covered up his scar with makeup ANY time they left the house. But every single person has seen that scar this chapter. What is the point of hiding the scar and having his name changed if you are just going to NOT do that in the place it matters and could change things?

Making it even more of an AU without changing a damn thing I see. Keeping the brother wands bit but changing the wood to match a more competent Harry. I would think that Harry would correct Ollivander on his last name being Darkov NOT Potter. Hell his scar is supposed to be covered up yet Ollivander just sees it? Honestly.

This chapter felt like it was just forced drama. I mean his dad knows he is very mature for his age but then treats him like a untrustworthy child with little maturity? The two ideas are so completely opposite this would never happen. A real father figure knowing his son is mature would try to get his side of things first before doing or saying anything. Especially if said father figure is as mature as you try to make Harry’s dad seem. Or he would know harry was an immature kid and would treat him as such. With that response you might have got away with the upset run away routine. But not the way it went.

I really wish you had mentioned Blaise being genderswapped to female in this fic.
