I really like this fic a lot. It's very clever and well written. The ideas presented are original and intelligent. I like the way you wrote Severus and the subtleties of the story that add up together. I can imagine their conversation being just the way it is in this fic. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Very cool idea and very charming writing; the interactions between Snape and Hermione are particularly excellent. Lovely fic :)

I like the anti-marriage-law thing you've got going here.

| Nagasasu chapter 1 . 11/29/2010
Excellent take on the MLC! OMG, this was wonderful! Even though Hermione's speech has quite a lot of info, it wasn't dull at all to read; it brimmed with personality. Likewise, Snape's personality was great too. Really great one-shot! :D
| Vera Rozalsky chapter 1 . 7/31/2010
Very interesting story, which I have come upon just this afternoon as you flagged my stories, and which follows some of the same trains of thought. I've been puzzled by the popularity of the marriage law trope (forced marriage along lines attempted only by the most totalitarian regimes, as setup for true romance).
The thing that's delightful about this story is the amount of historical and theoretical backstory that's packed into the interplay between two highly intelligent interlocutors (I almost wrote 'adversaries,' but it's only the _manner_ that's adversarial). The closing lines of dialogue are marvelous.
Thanks for a treat!

a much better response to the mlc than the usual rot
has to be said that a ml would also result in pb families not being p any longer - her route just avoided the mudblood shackling aspect of it
| Simon's Bane chapter 1 . 7/20/2009
Bloody brilliant, excellently written... the concept was hard to grasp at first but truly as Rowling wrote it, purebloods are on the decline. And Granger's decision is true to her chracter... for the greater good and all.
