   Sue Clover chapter 28 . 7/13/2015 What, they actually had a body? What the heck? It must have been one of the Muggles or something. Because Scabbers is still a thing, I know that's Peter. So how could they have had a body? And, and, damn. Well, now I know why Sirius wasn't suspected as secret keeper. But now I have even more questions. And what about those headaches Sirius has been having? That's not normal, is it? And I want to know what happened to make Sirius not be able to keep Harry. I bet it was Dumbledore, it always seems to be him. All the feels. |

| Sue Clover chapter 18 . 7/12/2015 You know, this is the sort of AU which I would either be interested in and read, as I am doing, or write off as ridiculous and not even look at again. Previously, if I didn't think about it too hard, I might have thought the premise too impossible - why would Remus be the one who knew Peter was the Secret Keeper, and why would everyone know Remus was the secret keeper? Sirius was the closest to James and thus the obvious choice. Then there's the thought of everyone believing Remus Lupin to be capable of such evil. Sirius I could understand, people believed it of him for two reasons: one, he was a Black, and Blacks are known for being dark and often mad; two, he was often a bit reckless and not caring of consequences, so people might have thought he was a bit off his rocker. And Sirius was the one who told Snape how to get past the Whomping Willow, so I think that's why Remus would have believed it of him. Remus was a sweet guy and a hard-working student, in my mind, but I can get why most people would easily believe he could murder people and be a Death Eater - he's a werewolf. People are stupid and prejudiced, but that doesn't explain how Sirius could ever believe such a thing of Remus. But then, I don't know everything about this AU and how it works. As I go through, aside from the premise-which-is-more-plausible-than-it-seems-at-first-glance, it is also extremely well-written and thought out. I like how intricate the story is. It's almost like reading one of the original books, only you have a slightly different style and I already know most of the characters really well from fanfiction, and I know the basic outline of some of the plot. I'm looking forward to reading more of it, as this AU is fascinating. And good. Did I mention good? |
