im cryin hella bad!

I have literally spent the last week of my life reading this story and this is seriously one of the best fanfictions from any fandom that I have ever read. I was honestly craving a really good demon InuYasha story, and I've only ever fell upon one or two of them, but this one by far blew them out of the water. I'm grateful by how dedicated to this beautiful story you are. I've seen authors claim a few years was a long time to work on stories and simply abandon them, but the fact that you haven't after nine makes me so incredibly happy because I know that even if this story took another nine years you'd probably deliver us chapters until the bitter end. I anxiously await the next chapter. This is by far the best InuYasha/Kagome story I have ever read, but it goes beyond that. This plot is not only original, but every single character is IC. No one is too over the top or shown to look a certain way to make them the big bad villain. You've humanized everyone, and have made each of your characters sympathetic and beautiful. No matter what ending this has (whether it be a Kagome dies and InuYasha stays feral, or InuYasha remembers and Kagome is forced home) it will deliver, just like this entire story. I'm grateful to have accidentally found this, because it leaves me wanting more of this perfect concept you've created.

Reading the plot before the story: What's that? You say you've got a story with a tragic outcome? With a dark love story that touches the subjects of love and betrayal? I'm afraid I'm missed everything after "tragic outcome". That's rare! Sounds to me like the protagonist has become the antagonist just from the reading the plot. That's really all I need to hear.

After reading the story: I don't even know what to say about this story. It's was the most spectacular story I've ever read and can't get enough of this plot you've created.

The first I heard about this story was when I joined back in 2012 and was never interested in reading it. Even in the last few years, I never intended to read it. It was one of those popular stories that I was too lazy to get into. I'm a very picky reader so it's hard enough to find something I'm drawn to. But a few weeks ago I finally said 'screw it!' and began to read.

My first reaction after reading chapter one was, what the hell did I just read?

I didn't know whether to be angry at Inuyasha or sad that he was acting like this. When I ended up watching an episode that night, I couldn't even look at him the same. I just kept seeing the monster I read in your story. It was so weird. In your story he's in character but he isn't at the same time. Now I don't even trust him when if a watch an episode of the anime. Strange how my perspective changed of him just from a few chapters.

Throughout the story, Kagome definitely starts returning to her old self. But I like the twist you've created with her character. She's a whore. It's plain to see. But I also knew all of that was because of Inuyasha or whatever is controlling him.

I love the moments between those two. The small fractions of sweetness that give the story some light. I guess it goes to show that love never dies no matter how much it is stabbed in the heart.
I'm glad he was starting to return to his normal self during the story. Kagome does still have an effect on him even though he hates it.

I was shocked to know that Kohaku was behind it all. When I heard about the scarred man I thought it was going to be an OC but when Kohaku came into the picture I was like "WHAATTTTTT?" then you go to tell us he's married to Shiori! Do you know how many stories are out there with this paring? Only a few, but this is the only one I've read with this pairing, and I have to say, I approve!

With Shippou and Rin, I could see them getting closer and closer with every chapter. I won't be surprised to see a kiss between them at the end.

Furthermore, I am so happy I read this! It took me two week but it was worth it! Every word, every emotion, every betrayal, it was incredible. The dark descriptions you wrote and the dark romance, gods I can't believe this isn't a published story. I'm actually scared to read the ending because I have no idea what will happen but so excited at the same time!

This is my longest review I've ever written! But with that, I am awaiting the next chapter. Be it in the next few week or months, I will be waiting.

Hey Wheez.. i started reading this story when i was 15.. i am now 24.. i absolutely love this story. and since you have FINALLY updated... i had to re read it all over again and once again fell in love with it... the way you write is beautiful.. and i could only hope that you update asap.. and maybe with a very happy ending? just please update sooner rather then later... there's so many possibilities you could go with this.. and i am almost dieing to read what happens.. the other stories you have written are also very good.. but this is by far #1. update soon please!

I am so glad that you are starting to write again. I won't lie and say I had faith that you would. So many authors on here just abandon their stories completely so I was pleasantly surprised when I just happened to check this one and see you updated. Thanks for not giving up on this one and hope you update again soon.

I remember starting this story in 2006. How crazy is that? It's been a long time since I've been to this site and only randomly came across an email saying you'd updated the story. I was very pleasantly surprised. I do hope you get to finish the story. It feels a bit empty not knowing how it ends! Anyway I love your story.

If I wasn't busy cleaning my email account our slowly of the story updates I might be tempted to go look for others like this just to see if they match up quality wise.

Wow, another great chapter, been following this story for years now, checking back in every once in a while just to see if there is an update, and every update is worth the wait. Hopefully the next chapter will come sooner rather than later, but you will write it when you can write it. Can't wait!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw "January 19" lol I was like "nah, no way she came back" but you did! You are quite relentless! Haha, I just hope you get to finish this. I'm curious as to when inuyasha will go super-bad once again and how Kagome will be able to deal with that and with the remainder of the towns-people, and now the wolfs, after him too.

Aww! The feels! This just makes my heart so happy. I love how no matter what state he is in, Kagome still holds the key to Inuyasha's heart. Even though he doesn't even remember their history all paths lead back to Kagome. So glad to see you're back! Keep at it. We'll still be here waiting for you!
