it's been a long time since I have reviewed, and since your story made such an impression, I decided that I could(should, would) write a review.

well, I must admit, this has been different from anything I have ever read. and I couldn't help but be curious when you specifically warned that all fluff-lovers should be cautious. well, like they say, curiosity killed the cat. im' glad I peaked in.

it's hard to say what I think about the story. of course, I would have jumped in joy if inuyasha had seriously meant what he had said to kagome before he had attacked poor shippou, but this story has captivated my attention regardless of the misfortune.

it was refreshing to see something different from all the typical fluffy and happy fics. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love those fics too, but it's nice to read something different. I’ve never seen a fic that showed inuyasha betraying kagome and showing the aftermath of it, especially the way he started acting towards kagome.

the fic is beautiful, in its dark and somber way. it was heartbreaking to see what kagome had to go through, especially the loss of the baby. gods, I love children (although I’m too young to think about having kids right now) and if I were pregnant from a man that I loved as much as kagome loved(loves) inuyasha and had to leave him like she did, I have no idea what I would have done.

I’ve been wondering when inuyasha will make his appearance in the story (not just memories) but it has me thinking, maybe he won't show up. but another part of me says that demons live far more than humans, and it's possible that inuyasha is still alive, especially as a full demon. a very odd thought occurred to me, what if Scott was in fact inuyasha? I have no idea why I think this, because Scott is exactly the complete opposite of inuyasha. but it could be possible that after 500 years he has thought some things over and somehow (and I snort at this) 'cooled down' and was disguised or something, but I highly doubt that Scott is inuyasha. it was just one of those silly thoughts that you all ready know the answer.

it sounds like the story has ended, but I’m not sure if it's done because you haven't mentioned anything in author's note or at the bottom. but I’m not sure what was there left to write about. kagome's life was doomed to be miserable from the moment inuyasha became a full demon. but I secretly wonder what would have happened if kagome saw inuyasha again, 500 years older inuyasha or the one that she had left on the other side of the well.

for all it was worth, I really liked the story. as much as it pained me to see one of my favorite couples of all times act the way they did, it was wonderfully written and I’m glad you wrote this story. I must congratulate you on your skill to captivate kagome's emotions. they were very real, which is one of the reasons why I liked this story so much.

well, I don't know what else to say, really. and I think I have somehow once again written a bit too much, lol. sorry. anyway, I wish you good luck with your other stories (might check them sometime *wink*) and if this isn't your last chapter, could you please tell me via e-mail? I've never been so attached to a story as I am attached to this one. you're a marvelous writer, and I honestly stayed home and avoided going out with my friends so I could read your story. I can't wait until you publish your next chapter, and I hope that it is as marvelous as the first 6. It's fantastic.
